It's not impossible; some zombie flicks do have undead animals after all. But these guys are still in Tokyo, so the most we'd see is some undead rats, cats, and dogs. Would be interesting to see some undead animals escape from the zoo, though.

eps 2 is still entertaining, the fatty nerd with DIY gun is interesting, the pink-hair crybaby is not

uniform + long hair + long blade + cool personality = character i cant resist... and she acts very rational too

expecting the party to roll past a horde of zombies in the next eps

alu's short review(after episode 1): So we have Resident Evil: Highschool Anime Edition. Actually pretty interesting idea, i dont mind it all(and actually didnt like resident evil all that much)

Was funny watching the expected chaos. "We'll GET BY WITH FRIEND POWER" LOL, i knew where thatd go in ten seconds, still funny to see it happen.

I found takagi to be pretty cool, though the only girls that are important that got lines were her and rei. i like rei as well, but not as a romantic interest for the main character. ill summarize my feelings on that in a bit/

takagi made a pretty good impression on me though, but it bothered me seeing takashis negligence over her in the class when everthing went down. he only went after rei, which just eats at me. poor takagi, i hope she slaps him up good next time she sees him.

Back to rei, if this entire story becomes a roundabout way of getting rid of her boyfriend and hooking her up with takashi to have the childhood friends ending, i shall be pissed. rather have a bad ending. those types of scenarios are wildfantasies brought about by depression and rejection. its not a good image to present viewers and feels wrong.

THE NERDS GOT A GUN/

Saya: Reach out and touch someone with that chain saw. Crying girl+ Chainsaw melee is the ultimate messed up combo.

Kendo lady has the samurai code thingy going on.

The nurse is the worst character addition ever.

Saya yells at everyone. Why? Because takashi abandoned her for rei(he couldve atleast brought her along as well), which would piss me off too, and i said previously i didnt take well to it. Bringing a little realism to things, not the best time to play meet & greet guys.

hmm, kendo lady makes a good impression on me too

anyway, its important to remember that these are ordinary(mostly) people forced into an extreme enviroment. emotional breakdowns will occur. but, im sure that in time everyone will become hardened and accustomed to being a badass, up until a certain few die. namely the nurse. oh god i hope she dies.

EDIT: just saw the bit after the credits in episode 2, scratch some of them dying, in the grandscheme of things, they are all pretty boned.
