Well, Hayate has A-Tan's spell while Hina has Masamune. If Hina learns how to use Masamune to it's full ability, she might become stronger (even some type of special move of her own)? Isumi mentioned something about the sword having a lot of potential that Hina hasn't tapped yet and she carries it everywhere. She even brought it to Greece!

Any one know why Isumi hasn't taken it back yet?

That is why i was asking. Since she seemed so happy at the end, i wondered if something happened in between that made her so. I dont know japanese so im just going by the pictures, hehehe

Spoiler for Chapter 221: As for chapter 221, I think she was updated about the basic stuff that was going on, but she still seemed a bit lost when Gilbert picked her for the 2-on-2 volleyball. It also seems that she misunderstood Hayate's plan a bit and took his words of her being fragile for real. Not like I mind that though, Hina blush = love
