Nope. Because from her perspective, it looks like they died. But as we saw with Lisanna, that doesn't mean they are actually dead.

Her "beloved" could also mean she thinks Lucy died, since she and Lucy are quite close. Given that Lucy went back in time, Levi could easily have thought that Lucy died instead of time-traveling.

Of course even if Gajeel died in the last timeline that doesn't mean he is going to this time around. Future Rogue seemed truely surprised that Gajeel managed to eat the DS shadow magic and something like a ds duel element mode could easily explain his surviving this time around.

Rogue hasn't received the same amount of story focus as Sting. Compared to his comrade, he's been more of a background character. I suppose the big reveal was why.

Now that the games are over we can finally progress we the story and finally see some surprises. Did not expect future Rogue though. wonder what he wants considering that he (present) took good side just now.

I was laughing when F-Lucy was dying, they just made it too damn funny. and once again the manga ends with a serious face.

the things are going like i espected/predicated:

F lucy death trigger the charles visons of lucy crying, and i believe now who after or before the eclipse gate gonna be used to stop the dragons, someone(probabily natsu team) will gonna destroy the gate to change the future and lucy dont die

we have 2 timelines one where everyone died(the bad end) with levi writing the letter and another good ending where's come charles visions, who no one than F, Lucy and Rogue dying but no dragons coming and city being destroyed just the castle and gate.

If F. Lucy didn't know she closed the gate then that means she didn't do it conscious or intentionally so something is definitely up.

That said...it's actually good to see that Mashima didn't do the whole "Two people from the future, one good and one bad." thing as Rogue simply seems to be trying everything possible to prevent the Bad End from happening, though his methods are...yea...

Well, that was interesting... One of those cases where killing Hitler in the past before he grows up, you hope to prevent the horrors of WW2... only to have something even worse happen. Mashima is doing a good job showing that Time is not meant to be messed with lightly. He's setting it up well to show that time travel is not going to be the answer.

Future-Rogue is interesting since he's become an extremist. In order to prevent a bad future, he's willing to dirty his hands in the present. Even if he is right, Natsu and FT ain't gonna take that lying down. His attitudes toward Gajeel are still in doubt; interested to see his reasoning there.

And we have a death, something FT has generally been light on. Although, to be fair, we were all pretty sure F-Lucy was gonna die. Still didn't see how she lost her arm, though. That's gotta be something they'll address.

Man, every issue of FT answers questions, but gives us so much more, and really makes me want to know what happens next. The story is more interesting than the fights, unlike a typical shonen manga where what is in doubt is mainly just the fights.

Rogue wants to prevent the closure of the gate by killing Lucy, but if she dies Eclipse can't be used as a weapon in the first place (from what I understood) and the dragons will swoop in anyways. It's highly unlikely that a dozen or two wizards can stop thousands of dragons.

The Princess wants to use Lucy's powers to fuel Eclipse, but presumably something will happen that she will unconsciously close the gate and the whole scheme will falter. Future Rogue doesn't seem to know why, though.
E: Actually I can't quite recall whether if the Princess now wants to use Eclipse as a weapon or go back in time to kill Zeref. But if she does the latter, it means dragons never get put back in their place and still rule the world. We don't know whether if F Rogue/Lucy/Levy experience a reality where Eclipse failed, or where it was actually used as intended but had unforeseen consequences.

Going by Charles' vision, we know she will sing/cry as dragons take down the castle. It's safe to say that Natsu (or someone else) will stop future Rogue and most likely Eclipse won't fire, so I'm wondering what will it take to prevent the dragons from wrecking humanity. The solution won't be brute force and I'm half-hoping it won't be nakama power or Gundam-esque "we must understand each other", either.

Igneel and Grandine do express trust in the "humans" to sort out the situation, I wonder what makes them feel confident, other than the fact they trained Wendy and Natsu?

If I had to guess, the reason the Eclipse Cannon doesn't fire in the future is because Future Lucy will use the Eclipse to go back in time and warn everyone of the future, thereby wasting its power. If this is the case, then if she knows what's good for her, Lucy shouldn't go through that gate.

...Seven years after Lucy used it. And by then, the Eclipse Cannon was weak. Rogue probably just barely managed to get enough power to use it for time travel.
