Nyantype doesn't really give us any notably drawn asses, and when they finally do, it's on Ilya of all people.

I would apply this to Silver Link. They certainly do good in this area, but it's usually just boobs, and well... I don't really pay attention to the shows' actual content.

I'm pretty sure it could be on anyone else, and it'd work better, but really, it doesn't work like that and just broke my suspension of disbelief. I mean I always jab at Nanoha for going overboard on the loli stuffs, but lol this is a bit too much for me.

It looks pretty meh to me, even though I love parodies like this (Carnival Phantasm was wonderful), in particular magical girls. Though call me when Fate and Nanoha make a guest appearance, ahem.... if they should be drawing anyone's ass...

Soft spoken long haired girl ftw; it wouldn't be the first or last time one has saved an otherwise bad MG series for me.

I can see where your coming from, but to me, this series IS a Mahou Shoujo series but at the same it's not. Mahou Shoujo girls usually go on about friendship and all that, which you can see a bit in here, but the series actually has a pretty well thought out plot in some terms. The mahou shoujo theme was already brought up in Fate/Hollow Ataraxia anyways so it's not exactly a parody, more of a spin-off like it was announced.
If anything you definitely won't be disappointed when the battle scenes come up. Has FSN quality action in there. I also like how the concept of magic circuits and the whole physiology of mages are still put into play in this series.

Why would you still expect ufotable? It was announced to be Silver Link just under a year ago now. Also, getting all irritated and denouncing the series just because of a fanservice image from Nyantype, notorious for putting characters in erotic poses, is rather... jumping the gun?

Expected. Yes, what's now is done. And I'm really sorry for not paying attention to every little detail and announcement that comes along.

My commentary on the image is just a commentary on Nyantype's choice of images, of which disappoint me often.

And lol, well I'm sorry you thought I was "denouncing" the series. Just having lower expectations is not the same. I think the only person jumping the gun here is what you think of my post.

I'm not targeting you personally, but it does seem like people are so sensitive to this kind of thing. It's entirely possible I came in with preconceived notions, but the trailers and promotional images (which are supposed to lure people to the series) are going to generate certain reactions. And opinions can change. Now let's just say I stuck with said notions even though the series provides something to the contrary, then well, the world will still turn. I do enter a number of series with low expectations. It makes me pretty happy when they get defied, after all, and leads to something to write home regardless of which directions they were defied.

There is actually a crossover chapter with Nanoha. Probably won't be animated though. If you like Nanoha and F/SN then there's no reason you won't like this since it's pretty much a mix of the two. The manga does have a lot of loli fanservice but it might get toned down in the anime (Nyantype posters are not indicative of anything).
