Wow, I didn't know that.

Well, I guess when someone said it's noisy, you get the hint to be quiet.

Maybe it's their way of telling what they want done without having to actually order people to do it.

From any language to any other language the translation is usually 90% accurate, with the 10% being re-formulated to account for language specific expressions that just don't sound good or make sense translated as is.

In this case the Japanese expression is replaced with it's English equivalent.

OK this have been bothering me for the longest time, but I never seem to ask it. While there are plenty of good file hoster like gigashare and what not. Why do people still use Rapidshare even when they are sharing multi file items? Rapidshare is just like any other hoster, but with the limited download of only 1 per every so often, but they do host a good speed.

also

Where does this phrase come from "someone has been eating their Wheaties" or similar. And it deals with body strength, where did this phrase come from?

Amen to that. It not only forces you to install a damn toolbar, it completely prevents us Linux users from downloading anything from it unless we're running IE or Firefox under WINE. Luckily that stupid toolbar can't do anything to my system that way.

Can't be helped if the majority favors MegaUpload over RepidShare.
I don't remember the reason. I think it's download limitation.

Personally I like MediaFire. There is no time or download limit.
Download accelerators allowed as well as unlimited simultaneous downloads.
The only limit is in file size when uploading. (100mb)
Yes it's all free, no registration required.

For some reason I can't use rapidshare at all... It keeps asking me to join the premium zone, even whenever I try to go into the free zone. Any reason why? =o

Is there any way to see who gave you the rep? Only the positive one is enough.

Nope. No way. Reputation is anonymous as a way of maintaining equality.

Of course, some people choose to identify him/herself.

Sometimes I do that, when the comment is personal. Often I don't identify and just let the boost of rep be anonymous.

Anyway, the "silly question" was answered so lets not turn this into a rep discussion, please.

I dont think you are very anonymous in boosting rep, NSW .. Even if you dont put your name in the description.

My question :
I like to use anonym.to as my web proxy, but one site seems to not responding at all.. Used to be tho, but somehow, the website update have some error in its script, cause the redirect never be completed. I then use scriptbot.info to surf the site, BUT scriptbot dont allow flash movie to run. Is there any other web proxy like anonym.to? Most web proxy I googled use the same style as scriptbot.info .. thus flash movie cannot be run >.<

When you turn off your computer.....

Is it really bad to leave a CD or DVD inside?

I am playing Icewind Dale right now, and I just keep forgetting the CD is there when I am done playing.

That's good to know.

I though that maybe the computer could have problems if it tried to start up and read the Cd/Dvd inside all at the same time.

Most computers are set up to try to boot first from the optical drive. If you watch carefully when you boot, you should see the optical drive spin up as the computer's BIOS tries to boot from that drive. Once the BIOS fails to find a boot sector on the optical medium, it falls over to booting from the next device in its list, usually the hard drive or a USB memory stick. If you hit the appropriate key at boot to enter the BIOS setup screens (usually F2 or Del), you can see the order in which devices are booted. You can even change the order, though I wouldn't recommend it unless you really know what you're doing.

Thanks for the extra info.

I am certainly in the doesn't know what he's doing group, so I should probably stay away from those options.
