Now that's one hell of a trailer, I'm getting kind of pumped for this now. To add fuel to the fire, a bit of information regarding the game has been revealed along with the trailer during the AT Fan Appreciation event.

So this is there plan to make this game more marketable.

I'm tempted to pull a Jon Stewart, "Meet me at camera 3" and explain to Japanese game producers that they REALLY need to focus more on making recent games more fun to play as opposed to upping the cutscene and sex appeal to actual gameplay ratio in order to balance out the equation and their revenue, but I think they're at the point where they just don't care anymore.

Ain't it too soon to decide? They spent a lot of time to make the R.A.H. system, which was the core of the game, and even change the battle system.

The only issue I had with GUST's game is the difficulty. Overall I had fun playing these games.

Well....if you want to play AT2 without all the bug/glitch and bad translation, there will be a patch of it. Just that it will take a bit more time:

Chances are it's just a gimmick anyways on the same level of costumes (or possible an addition to the costume system). Like removing a certain amount of clothing, changing clothing, adding clothing/armor, playing dress up barbie wtf-ever you want to call it will result in different stats for the reyvateil. Probably to add more depth to a Reyvateil in terms of customization compared to the Vanguard counterparts. Hell, unless I'm mistaken the promo video showed the main main heroines flashing shortly in different forms (I know I saw Misha towards the end of Finnel), and it'll probably be related to the already mentioned gimmick system.

Those looking for negative light or seeing it as a marketing using sex... seriously get real, not like there's hardcore content in the game. Even if you need to find justification, look at a handful of other series such as RE5 (Did Jill really need to be in a catsuit and blond? not really, but why the hell not) or DOA, FFX2, or whatever. It is what it is, I'm pretty sure AT1~2 already established a comical side revolving around sexual innuendo's and this is pretty much another lead in for more.

What's the song that has been playing at the end of the PVs called? It was used in #2 wasn't it? Been a while since I played... same bgm as the places you go to dive?

The string of lyrics is the same, but it's a different "remix" for lack of a better description. It's in a handful of AT1/AT2 OST tracks (and was used in the diveshop). It's also in the BGM (i think?) for AT2's official JPN site as well.

Some recent some not so recent scans and images. Seems each multiple personalities of the girls will manifest in the real world making me wonder if there will be four different endings for each of the two main heroines (assuming the 3rd Reyvateil, if there is one, has one personality). Oh and the Mind Guardian of Finnelle looks pretty awesome, not sure about Saki's...

There's a choppy PV2 out on nicovideo right now... originally it was on amazon.jp, but they have taken it off now (perhaps they put it up too early or something). There should be a smooth version out soon.

And i think this game is going to be good in the other areas too. It seems like it. But i don't even know if someone is going to release this game in english... For now i can only hope so.

It was sure that Cocona return after what we saw in the end of Ar Tonelico 2.
But i'm really not for the return of Jack and Krusche...
I don't really see any real role for both of them...

Spoiler for rykomatsu of Neogaf: -Battle system reminicent of ToA/ToV, free movement on 3D field -Cocona was narrating the event -Dive system allows you to obtain Hymma, Hymma are used to synthesize hymnos during battles -RAH system is rather dynamic...battle music changes quite a bit depending on Hymma combination, battle situation, etc -Undressing is rather important... __________________
