To Aru Kagaku no Railgun is good one. I'm watching the anime but it's based off a manga. It involves cruel scientific experiments too. I suppose maybe Fullmetal Alchemist counts, too.
Just look in the Science is Bad article and related tropes.

Second on the Battle Angel Alita and Akira mangas. I would have to say some of the chapters of Naruto and Bleach deal with the main title topic. Orochimaru and his experiments, along with how they are currently being incorperated into the current chapters. Mayuri from Bleach is pretty much one of the poster boys for the Science is Bad trope. You can probably include Aizen and Szayelaporro as well.

Suffice to say yes. Oro used the First's DNA in order to create ninjas that used his unique jistu's. Yamato is a result from that research and just recently Danzo was capable of using the First's techniques due to having his DNA incorperated into his own cells. Mayuri of Bleach played Dr. Mengele and Dr. Frankenstien to many for his research.
Just to add, Betterman has a manga that has people misusing science for their own causes. |
