That's something unknown yet, but I think there is a Water Fruit, after all. If the Water Fruit exists, it would be the ultimate Devil Fruit, the only one which would allow its user to dive and not drown.

But, like I said before, that's something that has to be revealed yet

Well it's more than likely that exists a Water Fruit, it was already said by Axe-Hand Morgan that there are devil fruits which enable the users to create fireballs and to create tsunami's, also it appears to exist all the elemental forces in the fruits. Like Vicious said that fruit is the ultimate one and the guy who ate the fruit must be a frickin terror, i mean the only thing the guy needs to do to kill a devil fruit user would be to fill the land with water and that would be it, the other guy wouldn't be able to move and would lose is strength.

How many devil fruits were shown so far?

well here are the ones I can recall from my memory:

1-rubber, 2-spilt and go (the clown dude early in the series), 3- fire, 4-smoke,
5-Wind Sickle cutter (the one who uses wind to create sickles that can cut).

err, i m sure there should be more but those are all i can remember so far

[I m not gonna even bother remembering the japanese name, i.e. maru maru fruit for fire]

I never answered the topic. I think the devils fruit might have a melon taste to it! some melons can be very bitter but still edible.

Actually.... it's hard to tell whether or not Ms. Goldenweek has a fruit power. They never said that it was a fruit power, they did mention it as a hypnotism...... then again, vivi said that all officer agents have devil fruit powers.

Spoiler: Paramecia enhances the power of the body to a certain degree, such as changing into a different material i.e. Luffy's Gomu-Gomu fruit making him a Rubber Man or something stranger such as Robin's Hana-Hana fruit allowing her to sprout her body at any given space. Most fruits tend to fit in this category. Zoan allows the user to transform into an animal such as Chopper's Hito-Hito fruit which allows him to transform into a human (he's a reindeer). Zoan users can assume three different forms: full-human, full-animal, and an inbetween form (Chopper however is able to break this rule). Logia allows the user's body to become a pure element such as fire or lightning. These are highly valued and can make the user nearly invincible since it can switch between physical and elemental. Not only that, the user can use his elemental powers to cause devastating attacks! Take Marine Admiral Ao-Kiji, he uses the power of the Hie-Hie fruit which allows him to become pure ice. Ao-Kiji is able to use these ice powers in order to perform the unbeleivably powerful attack "Ice Age" which is capable of freezing miles of ocean for a full week. Logia users cannot simply be fought in a normal way. You must first find its weakness depending on the element in order to keep the user in a solid shape. What would Ao-Kiji's weakness be?
