I think that was the yuriest ep of Otherside Yuri yet...

Interesting distinction that Sorawo drew between "urban legends" and "real life horror", though.

Kind of a Ghostbusters vibe lately for some reason. And otherside "dentistry" is both intriguing and horrifying.

I'm really curious now if there's an actual connection between Sorawo and Satsuki. Seems like it could go either way.

I just couldn't help laughing at how untactful was Natsumi. "At first I thought 'Sorawo' was that blonde girl and I was worried cause I could never compete with someone that beautiful, but it's you, so I have nothing to be worried about!"

That wasn't a nice thing to say!

This episode must have done wonders for Sorawo's confidence. She was classed as too unattractive to be competition and her crush might only like her because of her resemblance to her missing girlfriend.

forgot to say. Saw that red vehicle parked outside Kozakura house. If somehow they get that harvester to the Otherside, can that thing move fast? I mean can it help them escape if they're chased by something?

Forgot I had an account here. I was looking forward to the 3/8 episode until I found out it was going to be another anime original. Is it pure spite at this point? Usually only Sunrise can get me this tilted.

The anime original stuff is being done by the original author though, as far as I'm aware, and its had some pretty good character exposition and banter so I've enjoyed it. I have been wondering when they would get back to the Kisaragi Station storyline, however... the way the anime has reordered everything isn't necessarily bad but its kind of weird.

The inbetween is starting to seem more interesting than the otherside itself at this point.

Poor Kozakura dragged into another one of their adventures. At least she got her barbeque in the end.

Sorawo asking Toriko if she still has Hasshaku-sama's hat when she saw it being destroyed during the beach episode. They really give no fuck about consistency. And of course, Toriko will magically produce the hat next week with no explanation.

That said, I liked this episode. Rather creepy.

really enjoyed this episode. Another monster that cannot be killed by bullets. That chase with Kozakura falling behind made me nervous. Thankfully, they all made it out alive.

well, and Kozakura looks like she cares about them after all, seems to be willing to be left behind if she does not make it to the elevator.

enjoy the barbecue after surviving another near-death experience. lol

So far all anime original eps blended fine in the story here. I ma not sure why you comlain besides it postponing the specific story arcs.

lol... I mean I'm sure there are instances where an author doesn't have much interest in revisiting something they wrote, but as far as this series I really like the anime original stuff for its banter if nothing else.

That said, there was... stuff that was definitely supposed to happen before the beach trip which was skipped and makes the whole series flow oddly. I sort of expect they'll make more changes and/or original content due to that, even if they seem like they're going to get to it eventually.

I was very surprised to see that the soldiers trapped on the otherside weren't simply forgotten and abandoned. It's kind of ironic that Kozakura thinks Sorawo is the one who doesn't care about others.

Still this means they are going to do something about that, right? They can't simply bring that up and then forget it again, right? Right?

That's probably just the writer trying to fix shit up after re-ordering events.

Spoiler for not spoilers:

They were supposed to go back for the soldiers much earlier, and back then Sorawo wasn't too enthused about it. It's Toriko who insists they should go back to save them.

They kinda messed things up and are now struggling to make sense of it all. It's not just the order of events but they kinda messed up Sorawo's characterization too. She supposedly only cares about Toriko but the anime doesn't get this across all that well. Or maybe they're just going in a different direction altogether. Who knows. It doesn't seem to work either way, imo.
