Where do you find the friend codes?

Look at the top of your 3ds main menu (the toolbar with light,internet...etc)

Select the smiling face (to get to friend list), select the card with your Mii's face. The Friend code is below your User name.

Haven't been to the new Safari Zone yet... How does Friend Code affect it?

You get a safari zone that contains different pokemon depending on the friend code. Which means getting a lot of friends gets you a wider variety of pokemon.

after you create a mii go to your friends list, its the smiley face in the square, and you should find it on your mii card

so im guessing you can add friend codes of other people in spot pass using the same method i'll add u guys later myself once i get to my friend code.
