Yup, it's definitely Cardcaptor Sakura meets Nanoha.

I've renamed this thread to focus on T.P. Sakura. If people want to discuss the D.C. ext OVA that comes with the PSP game, then I guess we can create a new thread for it (though it really is more of a bonus disc, since it just animates a few confession scenes from the game; not really a full standalone work, unlike this one).

I'm still a bit disappointed that it isn't Yukarin for Sakura, it would push those nanoha fans to emigrate here. xD

Agree. That's just one big Missed Moment Of Awesome.

Anyone knows the reason of why T.P. Sakura was postponed to January?
I was pretty sure this ova starts airing on November 25.

P.D. What a disappointment to know that most of the characters won't be voiced by the original seiyuus :/

So did anything happen to the T.P. Sakura OVA? I don't remember seeing or hearing about this, and I'm wondering if I missed something.

I suspect that, because it was released as a pack-in with the games, they were simply overlooked by most people online. If they had been released as regular, standalone OVAs, it would likely have been more noticed. That and the Da Capo franchise seems to have fallen from grace (well, whatever grace it had) in most English circles. I also know some D.C. fans who were a bit disappointed in the re-casting as well, so not sure if that played a part.

Anyway, for me personally it looks like I'll be getting both volumes in the mail tomorrow, so I'll definitely check it out when I can.

Or Magical Sammy XD some of the attacks remind me of touhou too. Is it me or is the animation really nothing special?

The new seiyuus just don't have the same appeal. Suginami is still awesome as always though.

Story-wise, it's a pretty standard mahou shoujo story. Nothing less, nothing more.

Spoiler for But at least we got to see...:
