Best anime games for Ps3?
I really need to build up a collection for anime games.
Ps3 preferably, and I already know about Valkiria Chronacles, I'm going to pick that up. I'd prefer RPG or music games if there are any. Bonus points if it's actually based off an anime. Thanks! |

Sort of depends on what you classify as an "anime game" too. Probably almost every Japanese developed title could be considered "anime games".
My personal impression is a spin-off game based on an already existing manga or anime.

As far as I know, anime games are plenty on the PSP, but then again, many of them are also a visual novel-like game. I think the same is most likely applies to PS3 games too (like Suzumiya Haruhi no Tsuisou, for example)
Valkyria Chronicles is actually a game first, and then later made into an anime. The other popular anime titles on the PS3 would be the like of the Dragon Ball, Naruto, Hokuto no Ken, Gundams, and so on, but I don't think those are what you want As far as I know, there aren't that many anime games for the PS3 but there are some great Japanese games (with anime-like characters and stories) instead.

If by "anime game" you're going solely off looks and being from a Japanese maker then there are probably quite a few out there. Look for anything cell shaded, that has a "anime" look to it.
Other than that, if you can find it (It's hard to find for some reason) Eternal Sonata is a pretty good RPG... and it's about music!

Then your selection is limited, as some anime/manga are actually spin off of games. Valkyria Chronicle is one.
Games that are based off anime/manga, ones that I can think of off the top of my head, is: Naruto Bleach DBZ Gundam (target in sight is horrible, so you are limited to dynasty warrior ones) Fist of North Star Mostly fighting games.

Once again, I must ask people to pay more attention to the dates in threads.
Posting in a 2 years old thread, created by a forum member that hasn't logged in that much time is completly pointless. Thread locked.
