MaxFactory's QC wins Handsdown.

You just have the see the quality of their releases to belive it and they have been throwing some interesting gimmicks into their releases lately.

Just check out their Nanpo Chitose and their Kokonoe Rin

Then there's their Ignus with her unique Mirror Base.

Well depends. While I don't question MaxFactory's manufacturing quality, theirs are not always the best designs. So the product may be flawless, but I won't buy it if I don't like the desing. Still, my two MaxFactory figures are perfect.

I suspect that is why Max have spawn GoodSmile and Alter. Max does not wish to tarnish their reputation of good QC and instead publish a wider range of fig releases under the lable of GSC/Alter.

The more interesting part is part 2 where they finally revealed how they paint those PVC figs.

@Xellos-_^ and all other loli admirers, just in case you're wondering, yes, if you put nanoha someplace high and turn her around, you get a good look of her shapely legs and pink pantsu

I bet Fate would kill for a Nanoha figure like that

But my desktop policy says no pantsu or nudity on sight whatsoever, so she has to go somewhere on desk level

I'll try to spot any minor defects on the figures, although on first look, I didn't catch anything, except a half a millimeter blue outline on Manaka's shoe, but it's not out of place like Fate's small cloak scratch, so it's even less of a defect.

You mean in the back, behind Mion and Shion? Yes - that's Sakura. Funny - I've never really watched Sakura Taisen - I just like the character designs. You may notice Ri Kouran on the top shelf hidden behind the arm of Yuma from To Feart 2, and Iris to the left of Sakura behind Mion, Alicia, and Maron.

The bus below Yuma and next to Mutsumi is a Fujikyu Line bus from Yamanashi Prefecture - the place I lived when I was a JET Program teacher. I was very happy to find it - someone got the bright idea to release a series of busses in capsules and it was a thrill to find the bus I rode to go grocery shopping.

Not pictured, on the shelf below, are my in-progress aircraft models. I promise I'll get around to painting that 1/72 Skyraider soon! Really!

I just got both Chitose and Ignus today. They look great, worth every penny i slave for.

Ignus look so cute with glasses. Other companies need to start offering glass with thier girls.

Now all i need is to figure out a way to take Chitose's clothes off

that didn't sound very good did it

I can't wait for these 2 PVCs to come out ^_^. But each priced at $69.99 USD, that's rather expensive for me.

I thought that was Kouran!

I am a big fan of Sakura Taisen so the fact you have three of the characters makes me very pleased!

I like the モルテ one Aoie.

My latest acquisition as of 3/2/07 :-

One outer box of Kodomo No Jikan Trading Fig by MaxFactory.

Results of opening the entire 8 inner boxes :-

Close up of two of the figs :-

As you can see, MaxFactory certainly does spare no effort even in producing Trading Figs, living up to their fame of high quality releases.
