Artists yes, light novel writers usually aren't artists. But Kawakami is a bit of a special case anyway.

Narumi Date (original kanji reads as "Shigezane Date") is the Vice Chancellor of Svet Rus' Sendai Date Academy. She controls the Mechanic Shell Futen Mukade, and is known for having mechanical limbs.
