I wonder what God's class catastrophe could be though. We only got to see demon class at best, and I don't think that the deep one king who trashed S-17 and S-16 easily is any stronger than the giant guy in early chapter or Asura Rhino.

Reading the RAW and I simply feel sorry for Saitama for being too strong. When he fight, he beat the villain in just one punch, making all the struggle other heroes did previously seem pointless, and the disgusting beings called ungrateful civilians just got angry at him for not appearing first, u know, instead of being grateful he saved their ass.

And the ranking of his changed to C-54 or so... even though he effortlessly defeated the enemy that rank S-17 and S-16 (Genos) couldn't defeat. So effortlessly that we should be angry for the retarded National Hero Association for not giving him #1 spot from the beginning.

As of ch 87, all S-rank heroes from #17 to #2 were defeated, now only Saitama is left without fighting any enemy. The most hilarious thing is how the final boss left after beating other heroes, complaining about something (I can't read Japanese) totally ignoring Saitama...

I wonder what kind of hero is Saitama inspired to be. The whole superhero things are too difficult for me to understand since we don't have that in real life. It'd suck to be one when he has no respect from people he saved though.

From what I understand, he cannot see Saitama (He seriously didn't notice or see Saitama). He was wondering who killed the slime monster behind him...

Seriously, Saitama got treated as a pebble in that battle.

In my honest opinion, this reaction reminds me of Nurarhiyon no Mago, where the opponents can't notice Nurarhiyon's presence because of their fear of beings far outclassed them that they subconsciously don't notice.

Which to say that Saitama is so outclassed to the rest of the casts so far. I wonder who S rank #1 is. We have only seen up to #2 till ch 87.

Nah...I think he just has no threatening presence at all unless he actively shows it (like against Asura Rhino), normally he just probably gives off an "Average Human" vibe so others just ignore him.

Actually, as far as Saitama's "hero name" goes, he DOES eventually gain one a good number of chapters later in the original version. For those really interested in knowing, it's (BIIIIG spoilers ahead).....

Hagemanto. Which is basically the same "Caped Baldy" name Saitama brought up in chapter 17. Yes, his own prediction came true!


On the other hand, Genos becomes known as "Demon Cyborg", which certainly sounds a lot more imposing than his mentor's alias!

If you recall the wall of text that made up his life story from a few chapters back, there was a scientist who converted Genos into a cyborg after a different killer cyborg destroyed his town when he was younger. That being said, I think it's safe to assume the same scientist is the one who repaired his damages.
