Was a fucking ending for me.

Ganta had no side effects at all. Author either forgot about it or more probably dropped the idea.


And i am laughing at the people who say it is a happy ending. Maybe for the other Deadmans, they found back to their normal life before the huge Earthquake and even Ganta just blended in again.
For Shiro there is no happy ending, which makes it even more so bittersweet.

And at any time again, she could go mental and destroy whole cities.
What has been done, cannot be forgotten, neither can it be forgiven.


The chapter 56 should have been the ending.

I would have liked for Ganta and Shiro to die at the end.
Then show a little of the future, but nothing else.

Well, I have mixed feelings about.

I wanted Ganta and Shiro to have a happy ending, and considering the circumstances I guess I got it. But considering what happens when there's real school shootings and such . . . . there's a feeling of incompleteness to it.

It's a tricky situation, you can't dismiss what Shiro went through, but she also took the lives of Ganta's friends in cold blood. Their lives mattered and they mattered to their families as well.

Some things that were downplayed. Does anybody realize how manipulative Shiro was in the early part of the story? She let Ganta go through hell in various trials, and then took care of him later on. Boy she was a conniving little minx.

I am pretty sure if Shiro every goes on trial, she gets off on a insanity defense.

By the way at the very is Shiro playing around with Ganta cause he seemed that she hasn't regain consciousness yet however at the very end she woke up and smiled.

Nah, it's implied that she just woke up from her coma, aware of everything that has happened and is excited and happy for the days ahead.

It's a good ending. I like it!

And that raises a question that who is Ganta's benefactor. Cause he needed one for he is still too young to afford the expresses for shiro and to be able to live alone cause it seems he doesn't have a job.

You forgot that everything related to the deadman wonderland project has been close under wraps and furthermore he is just a kid and no one will believe the words coming from a kids mouth without proof or evidence to support his statement.

the kid is not the only witness, this would included the assistant prison warden.

even if you discount the human experimentation, the kid was still either frame or incompetent detective complete botch the investigation. Either way, hush money would have been pay.
