I think I found a way out of this jam. Although, I'm not sure if Ch. 4 will be done by this weekend though...

Either that, or it's something else. Anyway, I think I have something for one of my guys weapons, look here.

Any thoughts?

I find that funny because the gun that's in the video is actually called the "Vulcan". In the game that it's seen in here, it actually requires 2 people to fully operate it. 1 person to use the gun, and 1 person to carry the ammo box and feed the ammo belt into the gun.

And if I put it in my fic, it'll only take one person to operate it (with how I "arrange" it).

Bored so I decided to do this.

The IS fighting game:

Spoiler:

Ichika Orimura - Highest attack power but health constantly drains due to Yukihira and attacks are clumsy.

Overdrive - Yukihira Setsuna with Energy cannon.

Gou Karon - One of the most skilled characters but has limited weaponry. Health meter is pretty low but she can read some of her opponents moves.

Overdrive - Summons the rest of the St@rs for a combination attack.

Kyuukai Tokiwa - Most versatile playstyle but has limited amount of moves due to energy consumption of weapons.

Overdrive - Reapers Sonata turns into a cannon and obliterates opponents.

Cecilia Alcott - Long range sniper along with drone BITS but has no CQC capabilities.

Overdrive - Summons all BITS for a combination attack along with missile barrage.

Rin - CQC specialist and can use a shockwave cannon but has no energy weaponry.

Overdrive - Yandere mode activates and allows her to instantly end the match.

Charlotte - Has multiple weaponry but has the weakest attack power from all the IS users.

Overdrive - Uses all weapons in quick tandem before ending the match.

Laura - Slowest unit in the game but attacking from the front is near impossible due to the AIC.

Overdrive - Valkyrie trace temporarily activates before becoming invincible for a short amount of time.

Houki - Strongest IS unit but weakest pilot. Has no strengths nor weaknesses apart from above average speed.

Overdrive - Akatsubaki absorbs nearby energy and allows her to refill her life bar.

Madoka Orimura - Above average sniping ability but has pretty low defense.

Overdrive - Snipes an opponents weapon and either lowers their proficiency with it or disarms them.

Irish - Hardest to hit and most agile due to small size and can temporarily jam shields. Uses a dodge meter instead of a health meter and is the weakest in overall durability.

Overdrive - Turns area pitch black before hiding heat signature and effectively turning invisible.

Inami Arisawa - Minerva armor pilot. Strong against long range users but has slow CQC.

Overdrive - TsukiAkari lance becomes usable and devastates opponents armor/shield/health.

Tatenashi Sarashiki/Bonus boss - Has no weaknesses and is the strongest playable character.

Overdrive - Mysterious lady uses water to copy itself multiple times before attacking all at once.

Chifuyu Orimura - A hopeless boss fight for everyone except Ichika. One hit kills opponents.

Overdrive - None required.

Maya Yamada - Better sniper than Cecilia but lacks the BITS drones. Tends to go easy if faced with Irish.

Overdrive - Disables a part of the IS/weapon users equipment permanently.

Tabane Shinonono - Lowest HP in the entire roster but has the highest amount of weaponry.

Overdrive - 2000 missile barrage.

Side note - Houki, Cecilia, Rin and Laura receive an defense power boost when Ichika is paired up with them and an Attack power boost when they see he is paired up with anybody else. Same goes for Laura and Kyuukai.

Side note - I agree but the non-IS users will be gimped if that's the case.

Inami wouldn't be a slow CQCer, I mean, he's trained in various forms of melee combat.

And his Overdrive should be the Vanguard Unit being equipped and he uses the TsukiAkari Lance. (Would've been the Karin system but I'm not willing to disclose information about it yet :P)

It's for competitive balance. If the guy who can snipe with a pistol is one of the best CQC fighters then he'd be imbalanced.

I'll change his overdrive though.

Or maybe you can bring down his range stats to maybe short-mid? The pistol snipe thing was a one-time occurence. (After that, he only uses his ranged weapons when he gets within melee range)

@ Jak - Thanks for the vid feed. Most of the time when we don't give advice is when we really have no advice to give. Notice that I rarely comment on your weapon posts because I'm not good when it comes to those things. Meister is the best in regards to that however.

Writing chapter 12 draft now, it's seems like a filler, but if you're troperiffic enough, it isn't....
It's mostly about Ichika's 'dark past' or something along that line.

Angst what Angst is one of the subverted trope in Sacred Twins.

Basically, almost everyone is wangsting to some degree (even Chifuyu, you know why), but using that angst as power to move forward (hence they rarely shown it).

And in case you fail do do just that, everyone will support you (just like Rin's case).
