Side note - Tatenashi also has enough strength to break down a door while Ichika was leaning against it. THat takes way more than just born skill Then again, Laura's also shown to be strong enough to grab Ichika's hand and pin it. Is Ichika just weak?

I think it the other way around, my guess the longer you train and use IS it may augment physical strength, well in the IS universe state its women that is the dominant gender in society

@ Kaizerknight - Sounds like an interesting theory That would explain Cifuyu being able to lug a sword the size of a child with no trouble.

It's okay, everyone has their own reason.

I might keep the door-kicking scene because it's not explained as reinforced door in mine, just that Ichika not thrown back even after the door hinge breaks because his own super-strength.

I cater that to Rule of funny, we're talking about Houki that can stab through the same metal door Tatenashi kicked. With a bokken.

I use this argument as well, but there's a limit and suspension of disbelief about how human body performs. Tatenashi can easily throw a full grown man, just not air-juggling them 17 times and kick a door made of same freaking material as I.S. effortlessly.

Side note - The air juggle thing never made sense to me. Wouldn't his bones break if he was kept up with enough force to keep him in the air? Hell, can't you just grab or block her leg/arm if that's the case?

Side note 2 - Kanzashi didn't get much luck Ichika ignored all of her attacks.

Not question directed to me, but in my fanon those sword has realistic weight, according on size and shape. the advantage of solid blade is their mass, energy saber are lightweight and easier to deflect, hence Why Chifuyu managed to hold Laura's beam saber strike.

@Eratas: I think part of my previous brainstorming with Zero, is that Tabane is creating more cores and distributing around the world for fun/in secret. So while there is 468 (remember, add one for Kurogane), there is technically close to one thousand created cores (but not all have been released yet), if it's released it should be around 580.

Kurogane IS Chifuyu's old I.S. refurbished. This is why Tabane is so EAGER to tinker with it, but Chifuyu won't let her and prefer play safe by asking Iori instead.

And if we count the failed/damaged cores (some of which turned into imperfect core or sub core), thus yes, the number should be more than 1000.

Sport like Karate and Kickboxing relies on strike power, counter, and timing (not necessarily size). Meanwhile, sport like Ninjutsu, Judo and Jiujitsu relies more on agility, flexibility, stability and technique.

I believe Size has some advantage in wrestling and Judo though. (Grappling is part of Judo after all)
