Just found some interesting background info about our resident prince-turned soldier (which are from the other spin-off manga focusing on the Dorssian boy-squads):

Spoiler for A-Drei Backstory:

hard to imagine A-Drei surviving with that "oh but I'm royalty!" attitude

I guess he got lucky

Wow, I hope they get to actually animate parts of that. That really sounds good. It acually give A-drei even more humanity and makes him a little more tragic.

Actually, I never got a "privileged" vibe from A-drei. In fact we would have never known he was a prince without Q-vier and H-neun's teasing nicknames. He does act with chivalry and honor to a degree which L-elf has commented on a few times. Yet, he's never struck me as a privileged brat. He actually reminds me more of what Lelouch would have been if he hadn't gotten Geass and hadn't gotten a star roll, but still became part of the resistance.

Main character is a High School student-> Gain a supernatural power-> Lead a/be part of a faction because of that power-> That faction betrayed main character-> Only love interest or close companion still stay loyal to the main character

If we are to go by Code Geass and Guilty Crown, the betrayal part is coming up really soon. Shoko or Saki, who you think will be at Haruto's side when the betrayal happened? I pick Saki.

The betrayal part is what I worry for Haruto's character the most, and if it'll happen, then I imagine no one will ever stay by his own side (that part is so nightmarish to my eyes) and I'll imagine someone very nice being one of the few who still cares about Haruto, doesn't matter if it's Shoko or Saki (depend on what kind of situation they are).

If just taking that into consideration, I don't foresee betrayal

but I do think that he will be hated by normal humans if

1) his secret is outed
2) he's doing a bad job of protecting them

reason 2) is more important than reason 1)

as long as they feel he doing a good job, they will keep worshiping him as hero
when things go bad, however, they will blame him for everything

But this is something that all Valvrave pilots will face. Not just him.

If such a situation does take place, Saki will remain on his side. Shoko wouldn't most like to due the her responsibilities.

These situations are the most likely of happening. I mean if Kyuma could blame him for Aina's death, what's to stop most of the student body if he fails again?

nothing

and it's human nature to blame the people in charge whether they are responsible or not

There's one thing that makes me suspicious when watching the second season PV for a while, concerning Haruto and the whole "human experiment" part:
Is Haruto a human experiment himself even before he pilots a Valvrave?
Another thing that bugs me is why are the Sakimori students still soldiers even when Kibukawa revealed it to L-Elf back in season one?
We still don't know much about what Haruto's family or even his childhood life would look like.

Honestly speaking, such circumstances like Haruto pushing Shoko away as a means of not getting her involved at what she is still oblivious of and Haruto taking all the blame to himself for whatever future reasons he has are not going to stop Shoko by staying on his side, but it does mean she will be seen with Haruto's company. Her intuition is always seemingly right, and she knows him best. Besides, Saki is a forever a comrade yet she might act like being a now-turned-enemy who in the end is doing what's best for everyone especially for Haruto. He and Saki would likely be a formidable partners in crime wherein chemistry works. Saki shares his burden, and the mutual bond they both have stays strong.

Although unfortunate events try to tear them apart, both heroines will remain loyal to Haruto. Sadly, it is hinted that Haruto is goin' to die. Well, the future is still unknown to us.

I need a doze of my L-Elf. <3

Saki manga leak

summary:

Saki rises to popularity
jealous rivals
Saki's mother tries to whore her out for child porn.. literally
Saki runs away from home
She contacts her manager (it's a woman). "I must rise even higher"
Saki's father gets a phone-call.
"Have you ever heard of the VVV project"?

It seems Saki has been considered a VVV candidate since her early days

The situation of the characters is not good for a mutually treason. While it is possible haruto take the brunt of all this.

L-Elf can get to sacrifice for the country or shoko. Haruto and L-Elf are candidates to die or maybe not die no.

From the radio, it has been confirmed that the kanji of Haruto is 遙人 (遙 means far away) while Shoko is 照子 (照 means shine and bright) as expected.

So it seems like Haruto won't have a good ending and Shoko should be some kind of a saviour.
And maybe she will shine together with the Princess? w
