Why, do you think it was wrong for catholic girls to make toilet jokes? Yukiko seemed to be the proper one on Usuzan... Followed by Chikako. Also, Naruka's 'it's scary' started to be a running gag. Quote:
Venter... Correct me if I wrong, but did she ... fly? I'm not quite sure how the whole Mary poppin' entrance at works...? but I think her wind powers work outside of mahjong table. I bet she tries to flip the girls' skirts while making her grand entrance. I'm glad I'm not the only one who is eager for Hisa vs Hiroe rematch. |

Hello all new to this forum,
Well been watching/reading Saki for years, but the resent chapter just tickle my bone, lol Hisa is blushing (Hisa seldom blushing as far as i know only when Mako told her that she was happy Hisa able to open up to her) and now because Saki call her "cute, very much so" he he there the possibility of new pairing, aheem sorry there HisaxMihoko and SakiXNodoka fans Well Saki has been chasing Teru since the whole series and we know in some word Teru has been adopting Awai, so why not add this little spice, he he he As far as both sister are concern recently i found some peculiar thing about both sister: 1. Saki +/- 0 and Teru snow ball scoring In the series we knows that Saki actually able to play outside +/-0, so i'm thinking is it possible for Teru playing outside snow ball scoring also, maybe consecutive Yakuman, lol, because i found in Achiga that they says this ability of Teru is actually her weakness. 2. Saki sense & table control VS Teru somakyou As far as i can says Saki sense of her opponent is scary, to the point she often overestimated her opponent due well maybe her over thinking brain, and Teru able to see her opponent soul after 1st hand, causing she is unable to take into account player who improve through game, but actually there is nothing saying Teru isn't able to use her somakyou through game, so what if Teru able to use this game long, hmmm scary thought Well that's it for my very 1'st post , greet Saki chapter with happy mind, ) even if it's short it's still calm my raging for Saki he he he |

Okay ... all prepared for Zenkoku to air....
Anyhoo - I was thinking ... if Ventere is the third player, then is the Georgian girl (the one who specializes in detecting the "flow" if I remember correctly") going to face off against Nodoka or Saki?

As for Saki, she might want to beat Nelly, the scenario works if Kiyosumi come out 2nd... And don't forget there's also Yukiko, whom still isn't confirmed to be captain or not (I think)... And she's also a 1st year. This. Saki doesn't need to obsess over someone that much, since Saki and Shino is pretty much one dimensional on their 'meeting with someone' goals, although Kanna and Shino's relationship dynamic is much better than Saki and Nodoka so far... Eh, that's mainly because I ship Teru and Saki and ShinoKanna. |

Lemme change the subject for a bit.
I managed to get a Tournament Game going where it was Awai, Shizu, and Saki (me) together on the fifth round of the PSP Achiga-hen game. No matter what I did, Saki would never get a Kan when facing against those two. Is that a sign of things to come? And yes, when Shizu's nullification is active it seals off both Awai's Kan and Saki's Kan. (Also interesting: If you play as Takami and Yuuki sits to your right, you can have a good chance of getting East for the last round. I've tried hundreds of other combinations and multiple times, and this is the only way I've seen it work; Takami has some sort of East/South/West Magnet when starting the game.) |

I think I'm still be able to make a kan, even with the two present. Just mind your discard... part of luck of the draw I guess... On Saki being massively downplayed... Which meant when she kan you don't always get the tiles you needed. As for Takami, I think it's a good coincidence that she's always started with honor tiles... Speaking of Takami, if Rinkai went through, "Wind Goddess" Choe will be here, too. She would've to alter her harvest... Last edited by Sukhoi; 2013-12-14 at 01:58. |

Copied the height and birthday data into a spreadsheet, so now for some random height trivia:
* The tallest mahjong players are Toyone (of course) followed by Megan, Jun, Kyoutarou, and Kenta Mishina (the Nagano? announcer). The shortest mahjong players are Koromo, then Kurumi, followed by Hina Yamatani (Achiga children's club), Moko Tsuiki (Arakawa corps), and Maho and Sakurako are tied. * The tallest mahjong teams are Kazekoshi (162.4cm average) followed by Rinkai (162.0) and Shindouji (161.8). The shortest mahjong team is Achiga by a considerable margin (147.4cm average, next shortest is Himematsu at 152.2). * The tallest game in the team competition so far is the sergeant match of the A-side semifinals (163.5cm average) while the shortest (height-wise) is the vanguard match of the B-side semifinals (149.25cm average). However, if the rest of Rinkai's lineup is as generally predicted (i.e. Myeonghwa -> Megan -> Nelly) then the vice-captain match will be the tallest (163.75) and the captain match the shortest (145.25). Well, this could be good news for us and bad news for Shizu, Awai and Nelly(possibly)... good news for us because we get to see Saki outside of her Rinshan Kaiho... a lot of people in the manga sensed that Saki is more than her Rinshan... we get to see what those are... bad news for the people at the table with Saki for they will be at the receiving end... they get to experience firsthand what those other abilities are... damn... this just added another reason to be excited about the final's captain match... this can't be good for the heart...

From what I understand (solely based on a brief hint from the anime) Nelly is a creature of the "flow", like Jun from Ryuumonbuchi. Dunno if the nullification power would necessarilnterfere with that.... Maybe.

If the 'flow of game' is like a factor that determine who will draw what tile and when someone will win, Shizu's ability might affect it on the way similar to what it done to Mairu/Himeko combo: Delay the hand completion as long as possible or something like that.

> Implying all monsters/demons are heavily dependent on their ability. Imagine, Saki get her rinshan nulled and she went berserk. Hopefully Nelly isn't a heavily dependent ability user. But flow reader (like Hayari on the children tournament) is kinda different in nature, I guess. Awai is a lost cause though, I hope she could do better... next time. Oh, but Happy Birthday Awai!!! \*o*/ |

However, something interesting popped up. Normally, Saki gets horrible reactions with sequences and tends to avoid them in the games, but vs. the two of them, she was getting lots and lots of sequences. |

Because Awai's ability allowed her to make kan... even if your hand isn't closed. On Shizu's null ability, you should test it on Takami's harvest. But then again the cpu on Saki PSP 2 is just so rigged, most of them riichis before 7th turn... I just hope the next Saki game is on PSP and not Vita... >.> Seems like the Saki chars's names are added again, http://sciasta.com/characters.html This time Rinkai's coach, Alexandra Durchschauen. ...
