The budget most likely went towards that slow undressing scene

Shouldn't be that different from rl where it takes huge amount of effort too to get a girl in that position not that I would know anything about that

I really thought it was just my imagination back on the first ep, but the animation budget sure must be on the fence, considering how very rarely you see 2 or more characters in the same medium camera pan. Generally, it is a fixed plan of several long seconds on either a girl asset, characters faces, or background.
At least, unlike Shaft, the design is kept consistent, although it make the animation laziness even more obvious. Episode 7 went so much on these lengths that even the fanservice parts with Aoi got canned a bit as result (and Charles teleport).

In any case, I didn't expect that much from Da capo considering the previous series tone/mood of the previous seasons, but it really feels that the fanservice drive went completely overload.
I wouldn't be surprised if Kyotaka will be the one who will be sexually assaulted, or even worse

God.... that "undressing scene" got me sweating, with rapid heart rate, gasping breath and blurring eyes... I never felt like this before in a "normal" ecchi..... I could have jump on her if she ask me to pull her under wear....

Hmm... this episode bored me to tears. I dunno, with the winning girl all but decided, I can't seem to get into the current girl of the week. They should've put this one before Ricca's episode, IMO. I don't see why didn't they do so, considering that they're pretty much interchangeable timeline wise.

Hey, I adjust my level of sanity whenever I am watching a "normal" anime from an ecchi and from a H anime. I felt like I was watching H anime in this episode...

In addition to Charles having teleporting powers, it seems Aoi has the ability to change her hairstyle while sleeping. (It's especially obvious in the shot right before the credits.)

Animation flubs aside though this may have been my favorite episode so far. Aoi ended up being a lot cuter than I expected, in personality and appearance.

I never thought I'd say this about a Da Capo show, but this is some crazy amounts of fanservice. And it seems incredible to say this but this show has even more fanservice than Senran Kagura!! At least that show makes the service seem natural and there's fighting as well. Here, they just shove it into your face.

I watched the entirety of Da Capo 1 and still remember it fondly. Amazing what you've turned into.

But those fanservice are nothing compare to this season. Heck I might have forgotten about it already but I never even remember those panty scenes but maybe its not the highlight of the story and there is a story that I enjoy that I forget about it. but her..... oh crap

Not to say I didn't enjoy the episode! Really loved the Charles and Ricca fanservice. After the ending credits is when things really got interesting, as Minatsu Amakase from Da Capo ii meets Sakura. I'm hoping this means we may see more Da capo ii characters. __________________
