That's the thing I'm unsure about.

As it stands, from the way it completely raped Allen, the Level 4 has shown powers on a par with Awakened Tyki Mikk, and seems to exceed Jasdebi in power.

Exceeding Jasdebi in power is fairly questionable but it does seem to be on par with berserk Tyki.

But remember one thing: you can't fight without a weapon. Which is what seperates the level 4 from the rest of the Noahs/Akumas shown so far.

Indeed, that is what makes this Akuma such a big of a deal, it can cause Exorcists like Allen to deactivate their innocence.

As for exceeding Jasdebi in power, it is questionable, but given Jasdebi's defeat at the hands of Krory's innocence, and the ease of which this Akuma can take hits from Allen's penultimate technique, the Sword of Exorcism, and shrug them off, I'd say this Akuma appears to exceed even the Noah twins in power, or at least resistance to Innocence attacks.

I think u guys are forgetting something if a LVL 4 akuma is more powerful than some Noah's then the earl has no use for the Noah's but the lvl 4 akuma might have some disadvantages thats why he keeps the Noah around

P.S. Jasdebi got defeated when Krory-sama went Crimson-Krory and krory doesn't feel any pain so think about it Crimson-Krory Might be able to beat an lvl 4 akuma while he is in crimson-krory he can also split in half too

Not as far as i can see. Lavi has identity and loyality issues. I don't think his problems fall into the romantic category. I think its pretty Allen and Lenalle. But that is just my opinion

WTF!!!! Hell NO. Lavi is only taking care of Lenalee until Allen return (in the anime) and manga shows nothing between them. No more than a friendship. Lavi knows Allen and Lenalee have a thing for each other.

If or when the author decides to hook somebody it will be Allen and Lenalee.

Spoiler for Chapter 147:

1. For the Akuma-haters, if you thought Level 3's were hateful, you will like to spit at the carcass of this Level 4 for the atrocities it's starting to commit in this chapter.

2. The Level 4 proves to be one of the top fighters for Earl's akuma army. It took it just one single punch, struck onto the floor, to level and decimate the entire laboratory.
Another of its abilities is to let out a howling scream so deafening that not only the Exorcists were about to bleed from their ears but also causing tremors as well.

Level 3's lust for human slaughtering in the most sadistic manner possible, but this Level 4 enjoys itself indulging in full-scale, widespread destruction with no sense of regret or remorse; it's so funny for that naughty boy that gives off the impression it wants to start dancing like a madman, feeling joyful for the mini-apocalypse it has brought forth.

3. Seems that Inspector Howard Links is also an Exorcist.


4. Speculation: Level 4 most possibly separates itself from all Akuma forms in that no longer limits itself to murder humans anymore, but slaughtering as many lifeforms besides humans.

I hypothesize on this because the Level 4 nonchalantly and calllous killed the Skull-leader and Skull-Tapp while they were still imprisoned.

Just read 147 wow good stuff. That lvl 4 is wicked! Though he knows he's an Akuma and made to destroy, he seems to do what he wants, even killing his own side. So like this one lvl 4 is taking on the whole black order and laughing and doing a damn good job. I know the base was just attacked by all the other Akumas and led by a Noah, but they attacked the scientist and non-exorcist, but when the exorcist and generals came they easily owned the Akumas and the Noah. So this one lvl 4 is more power than that little army of Akumas led by the Noah that just attacked?

Well, now you can see why the Earl still needs the Noahs.

The Lv 4 may be pwnage-incarnation, but it is also the very definition of a loose-cannon. This might explain why the Lulubell didn't just grab one or two Lv 4s, but an entire army of Lv 3s.


(Also, I have a theory that maybe the Noahs serve some other purpose than fighting, hence the Earl still needs them...

After all, Road's ability isn't exactly combat-oriented)

Seeing how the Lv 4 killed it's own allies, maybe you might one to reconsider the possibility that an Akuma could evolve to the point where it is free from the Earl's control?

And I thought all Exorcist were accounted for? Tiedoll said something like that back when they were in Edo...

The Lv. 4's power level really indicates that the leap in power from level to level really IS exponential.

And, I agree with Chaos2Frozen, the Akuma are the Earl's Foot Soldiers, the Noah could serve special purposes.

(Like has been said, Road isn't exactly a fighter, BUT she could program Noah's Arc, neither is Lulubell for that matter, she's a strategist, and the Earl himself said that Tyki has "Awakened" and that he can look forward to this from every generation of Noah's pleasure, implying the Noah serve a much deeper purpose than just footsoldiers.)

And that Akuma REALLY doesn't discriminate when it kills, if I were Lulubell, I wouldn't want Team-killers in my Army either....

It's not how much raw power you have sometimes, it's how you use your powers that matters.

For example, Road's dimension could be used to bring one's deepest fears to life, which can accomplish far more than raw power sometimes.

An other thing i think is up Are Akuma Immortal cause they might have a short life span as then lvl up because they say the soul is they're source of power and the condition of the soul of a lvl 4 is very very bad don't u think it could go bye bye
