Welcome to the weekly manga chapter discussion thread. This thread is created early to discuss spoilers and speculation about the upcoming chapter as well as discussion of said chapter once it has been released.

As per the forums rules, please don't ask for or mention about where to download the (licensed) manga. Also remember not to post or link to any translations of the manga, since this is illegal as well. Posting a synopses or summary is fine (and welcome) but please do not discuss scans, raws, translation groups, etc. Additionally, if you are posting another's synopsis (or their translation of a synopsis), then please provide credit were credit is due.

Remember that the manga is licensed, do not post significant parts of the chapter. This stands for pictures and direct translations. Summaries are OK, crops of pictures are OK as well if you want to illustrate your point but this is it.

It was amazing when Minato entered sage mode but the amazement didn't last for Madara just kick and cut the other arm of Minato.

Alright, I'm calling it. Naruto's going to get the second rinnengan eye and Sakura's there to perform the surgery just like Rin had done when Obito gave Kakashi his eye. It makes sense because Naruto needs a huge power boost in order to defeat Madara at this point in time.

Its becoming almost painful to read this at this point but I still do and this chapter didn't help it be any less painful

just another week before Obito completely died....

I guess Naruto is going to defeat Madara by showing how his chakra connected everyone.... then just a few moment of talk-no-jutsu and the last battle finished well...
we still don't know who is approaching Sasuke..

it's little painful to see my favorite character, Minato getting owned pretty easily

Wait a minute....

I thought that only Naruto had mastered going into sage mode that quickly. I mean, isn't that what grandpa toad said? Or was it simply that Naruto was the only one to master it so quickly?

Either way, I thought that only Jiraiya was able to take it up to the point where his physical appearance would be altered, everyone else (Minato included) tried and failed.

Also, Minato could have totally used sage mode during the Kyuubi attack.

Damn, Kishimoto's shitting us again with Minato's Senjutsu, though this chapter has more happenstance than the other chapters in retrospect.

Minato's senjutsu was probably done on choice, it's not like he'll turn to a freaking statue if he fails.

And Madara's narcissistic tendencies strikes again!!

^Uh, it was technically Madara's staff. He's just holding it now.

Chapter 665 - Who I Am Now
Finally, we see Minato using Senjutsu. It was a big disappointment to me if he didn't know...c'mon he's strong!
Now, Minato is out of the game. With his single arm broken he can't do any technique anymore.
Words, words and words again! I expected that mysterious person next to Sasuke to be revealed, not this!
I thought that Obito died last chapter, but he didn't...my bad, apologize! In the last page from chapter 664 it was shown how Zetsu tried to remove from him, so...I spoke too early!
And I don't understand why Madara called Obito to come by his side if he wants his Rinnengan?
Obito did a terrible mistake to oppose Madara...he could
survive longer if he accepted to be partners again.
I said that Obito will die in chapter 666 (number of the beast, YEAA for the win!) but it looks like not. Woau, this guy survived more than I could imagine...
Next week: Chapter 666 - Number of the Beast, lol! I like this number!!!
I hope in chapter 666 something very interesting will happen. Maybe, they will reveal once and for all who is that person next to Sasuke, not words like this chapter!!! ( I don't want this number, 666 to be a boring chapter, please not!)

Sooooo does this mean that Madara will now die by the hands of Obito? Where he then proceeds to became the sage again?
