Maybe they got their title cards mixed up. Because they also licensed Shin Angyo Onshi and redubbed it "Blade of the Phantom Mask".

Just like My-Otome the Utawarerumono DVD's also include short, omake episodes that mostly serve comedic purposes.

As of yet there's no official thread to discuss the specials so I ask the mods to let this post sit around here for a while, until the said thread is officially sanctioned and then you can move this post.

Synopsis.

Spoiler:

Hakuoro is fed up with emperor duties (a.k.a. signing edicts and letters day in and day out) so off he goes to the storage area to search for snacks but finds nothing.
Oboro comes in and explains to Hakuoro that Eruruu has had hidden them in places where won't be so easily found at conventional spots.
He (Oboro) moves aside a heavy vase to reveal a secret door to a shelf that guards a full load of chimaku. He hands one to Oboro and both proceed to gobble them down, but their snack is interrupted by footsteps coming closer. They hide inside a giant vase so stretched that both can barely hold their breath and peek on Eruruu who has come to check the stash. To her horror it has been broke out and prays that the tresspasser did not eat chimaku, since they have spoiled for some days.

Eruruu leaves and both guys come out from their hiding spots with sullen expressions on their faces, recalling that the snacks they ate before tasted sour. The diarrhea effects quickly manifest on both as crude stomachaches and grumble noises. They race to the nearest restroom only to find themselves in the middle of a precarious and delicate situation. Their hands reached the door at the same time. Hakuoro tries to convince Oboro that as his older brother he (Oboro) should keep courtesy and let him (Hakuoro) use the toilet. In response, Oboro counters that for being the younger the older brother should have the delicacy and kindness to let him (Oboro) use the bathroom instead.

Since negotiations are futile and the diarrhea continues to build up even worse that can't hold it for long, the two draw their weapons to fight who gets the toilet first.
Insert dramatic music as both in fighting stance glare at each other with weapons drawn.
The moment they charge the whole momentum is broken down once the diarrhea has reached unbearable levels that both cannot make sudden movements anymore.

Hakuoros' fears heightened when spotting Aruruu dashing towards him with her most jolly, bumbling salute. Realizing what's coming up next, Hakuoro instinctively pulls Oboro, out of reaction, in front of him to shield himself from a diving headbutt of Aruruu's; though she pulls it out as a playful gesture.
Aruruu's headbutt connects onto Oboro's stomach, and the poor guy falls down unconscious as is about to.....Insert toilet noises
Hakuoro pleads forgiveness to Oboro for such a cowardly action but overlooks Aruruu beating him first to the restroom. Once he has noticed, Hakuoro desperately tries to call Aruruu but is now late. He's just at the verge to.... Insert toilet noises

Cruel ver cruel. it reminds me of Lost Universe were the crew coulnt find the toilet in the ship specialy when the toilet was moving around the place to boot.

Hakouro needs to invent the fridge.

. "Dive" Could someone please tell me how to spell what she said in Romanji. It sounds like 'Dous'. Part with Aruruu silently going into the toilet was hilarious like hell. I just love the spaced out way she looked at Oboro lying on the floor, then at Hakuoro, then silently went to do toilet. Precious. This little episode had me laughing more than the whole series put together so far; and thats what an omake should be about. It even had a beautiful outro theme.

The stomach sounds made me wince and hold my tummy. It was like.. Eeeeww this is too realistic.

I wonder if Yuzuha could have like.. smelt... them. Her flowers certaintly could.

Errr there's plenty of threads here that go into it (especially the Overall Series and Discussion thread we have stickied where I go into detail about it lol). But to answer your questions:

Eruruu's father is unmentioned. You only get a glimpse of him in episode 1. The resemblance between Hakuoro and what Eruruu remembers of her father (because her biological father passed away, remember?) is striking - hair, height and all - but he's not Eruruu's daddy. Is it a coincidence that they look so similar? That's up to you and how you view the series. = P

As to your second question, we don't know his real name. He keeps being given names by other people. Iceman because he was found encased in ice (which we unfortunately didn't see other than in the OP), Hakuoro because it is what Tousukuru gave. As for the scene in episode 22 where he's shot, no name then. So we may never know.

DVD special 2 does not win so hard because of lack of Touka. It does win for all the NSFW kemonomimi flesh

DVD special 3 has Touka cute overload and Touka as Berserker. Finally Touka in grieving banshee mode.

Just watched special 02 & 03 - simply genius. It just shows that Oboro's only reason for being in this story is to be completely owned every single time he appears on scene, gonna love him. Hakuoro playing with the doll seriously made my year.. i've never laughed so hard.

We need a thread for the specials. :3

Damn it I dont usually watch the credits but for DVD special 2, I suddenly couldnt move the mouse at all to close.....

DVD special 3 was utterly funny. Hakuro isnt as brave as he normally looks as it seems.

According to some 2ch denizens, it looks like the 4th short episode will be a continuation o the 3rd. More Touka humor is good, since the 3rd one kinda didn't end nicely.

I think.. Kindof agreeing with Shiroth, but it's like.. I really don't think Hakuoro would stand a chance in a one-on-one barefisted fight with Touka. x3; Evinkuruga have liek, LEGENDARY skills, afterall.

Spoiler: Something about how they are chosen. Anyone notice that they happen to be blood royals representing every country in the world? Even Eruruu and Aruruu considering they are descendents of the Iceman. If this is true, what is Genjimaru really? When in the service of one of the Gods, the people under them gain tremendous power- something the Evinkuruga clearly have a lot of. Thing is, they are not the dominant race in the world [the winged blokes are] but appear to be blademasters in hermitage. What happened? did they willingly reduce themselves to being elite bodyguards and generals instead of lording over the planet themselves? Was there a decision to take this path else risk annihillation? It's all speculation, but for anyone to defy a God requires some pretty strong motive. Say, trying to prevent history from repeating itself. Bears thinking
