That being said, really good choices for the two especially Aoi Yuki's as Mio (even though I wished she would do another character) and I suspect she'll do a perfect job (I predict something close to her Murasaki from Kure-nai).

Ayumi ... the only thing I remember from her work is Azusa's voice, so I can't judge till I hear it, but she'll also be fine I suppose.

And, maybe it's the scans quality, but aren't their faces weird looking in this? The eye's look like they don't match their faces.

Oh, I don't doubt that she can't do a good job on a role outside of the ones she's usually pigeonholed into, but she already built this image. She is a good va, just one that gets stuck doing characters that are annoying to listen to (and sound way too similar).

Damn this gonna be an awesome Fall season! Now all that's left are the seiyuus for the remaining casts (especially Hakua ) and the number of episodes, as well as the PV for the anime.

Confirmed for October? This alone makes fall wicked. It's probably the first time in my entire life I've earnestly been hyped for summer to end so that fall can begin.

hiro shimono.... his voice from what I heard.... is for not too serious type and.... oh well. I would just watch it and it would still be good.

FMA was just one show, with a basically ensemble cast. Yes Ed and Al were the Main main characters but it's not like they were overloaded with lines each episode. Besides, Kugyuu (and most seiyuu) has done multiple shows at the same time before.

I think their Hiro's voice kinda fit...cuz Keima's only serious when he says "I can already see the ending" on other time it's funny cuz he really make wierd, funny, cute and handsome faces....especially when he just came out off the pool in Kohai arc forgot her name!

I don't know what happened but Keima is closer to Wakaki-sensei's drawing in this page.

The quality of the drawing fluctuates greatly from character to character.

The designs are fine on their own. But the one thing that I'm bitter about is that although they hired Watanabe Akio-sensei, who's style in Popotan and Bakemonogatari are just absolutely delightful, to do the character designs, it still turned out so generic and low-budget looking. While I understand that this style might be closer to the original manga, it just seems like such a waste of talent ;_;

well for me I don't think so. With the preview and different images showing up. It looks decent. Aside from they tried to make full details that makes other questionable on it looks. All is fine...... I wish they fix Ayumi's eyes.

To be honest, I'm not too enthusiastic about the designs either. It does look strangely low-budget. The original manga's art isn't exactly spectacular, but I wouldn't mind seeing the animators take some artistic liberties here. That said, the show might still end up looking great once we see it in motion; off hand, Manglobe isn't bad with animation, so I'm looking forward to it.
