Way to finish the Mai-Otome omakes.

The ninth is feud among all the girls to battle their way for the lead in the upcoming sequel, however, both Miyu and Alyssa have their own vision on what the second part should be, My-HiME MOVIE The Great Battle of Fuuka, to which Arika vehemently argues against it.

At the end, the café got destroyed again as happened in the last My-HiME omake.

I saw today and I love the fact they fought for the next lead on the next series.

But, here is the million dollar question. Will there be Mai-HiME series no.3?

If there is, what will happen to the Mai-HiME movie that is scheduled in 20006?

Or we shall wait for the Mai-Otome Zwei and see whether Sunrise shred any light to the largely anticipated(for some) Mai-HiME series 3

Well technically the Mai series #3 is Zwei because it is labeled as the third project. And the Mai-HiME movie is a fake, even its title says "imaginary".

I think that they'll leave any potential spin-offs to the fans from here on in. But completely new series wouldn't hurt - the girls are still pretty popular with everyone. ^_^ b

Agreed.

Maybe they will introduce some new character (in terms of, as in Arika's case) in the OVA?

Well if there is a movie version release in 20006 it would be those of my bloodline who will enjoy it.

Is there any manga in the Mai world out now?

Both HiME and Otome manga series have ended. Unless you count the hentai Otome manga drawn by the same author, I believe that's still coming out, am I right?

The same author has also just started on a new series (HiME/Otome unrelated) called Seikon no Quasar. Here's the thread.
