The purpose of this thread is to provide a place to discuss all things Rikka Takanashi related.
To keep the discussion enjoyable for all Chuunibyou fans, please follow the guidelines below and stay on-topic!

Note: Please don't use this for the specifics (i.e. episode, chapter, game, etc. discussion) there are other threads for that stuff.

Thread Guidelines

No campaigning!
No "hate" or "xyz must die" posts. Discuss why you do or don't like characters without whinging and whining or blatantly campaigning for your favourite.

I'm kinda surprised that the topic of the main heroine herself hasn't had any posts in it yet.

In any case, I knew Rikka could be cute when she wanted to be, but episode 5... just.... WOW.

The previous episode told us that they talked before on the internet, but I don't think they actually met each other before in real life.

I think Rikka made the connection Yuuta/DFM after hearing that recording Touka made. Heck, it may even have been one of the reasons why she moved in with her (though we may never know for sure).

It is interesting that in her imagination, her sister Touka is "the last boss." On the other hand, Yuuta is her "soulmate (not in a romatic sense, yet)", Dekomori her "servant", and no explicit title given to Nibutani and Tsuyuri, but certainly not enemies. If they have a normal sibling relationship, a more appropriated title for her sister should be "rival" in my opionion. So it is probably another evidence pointing to the fact that the Takanashi family situation is not exactly normal.

She certainly does however keep Nibutani in mind. See her hitting Yuuta with the handle of the broom on the pool episode, and also how she (I think the same ep?) says that if Yuuta makes her a new e-mail she'll give it to Sanae, Nibutani and Kumin... so she certainly does keep Nibutani in her eyesight.

I don't think it was gratitude, but more like a condition Mori Summer put.

In any case, It's probably the same way Rikka's sister feels about Yuuta getting close to her. She likes the fact that Yuuta is helping Rikka but feels jealous. Probably the same way that Rikka gets kinda the same way when Yuuta and Mori Summer interact (which is honestly the most... normal relationship of the group)
