AnimeSuki's Fansub Help Wanted Classifieds

Shining Fansubs is looking for an experienced editor (knowledge of Japanese is a bonus) and timer (screen-timing preferred) to work on the upcoming Meine Liebe 2. We would also like a backup typesetter, but since the show has so little signs to be typeset, the position is not necessary. A karaoke-ist would also be nice, just for the OP and ED.

Shining Fansubs/Anime-Faith is looking for a translator to help us complete Windy Tales. These are rare, we know, but we also know that there are translators-in-the-making out there who want to try their hand at a slower-paced series with less craziness and vocabulary to worry about. Hello ^_^,

As of now, we have got all the timers we need. Karaokers are here too. We're still in need of a translator or 2 and a typesetter.. We're a new Fansub Group by the name "Gnu-Fansubs".

We're not established, but working hard. We can do the karaoke pretty good (3 karaokers at this time, sick:X) and a really great encoder Typesetters are so-so, but not bad at all either If you're still looking for a group... please consider helping a new one

Expectations:

- Mark things you're unsure for for Trans Check
- Work with QC people about any rewordings they might suggest

- Able to work with subbing programs [ie: AegiSub] on a basic level to view subtitles

i used to translate manga but the only interesting manga i could ever find that i wanted to translate was elfen lied, but thats all done now.

i wont translate anything, i want to translate something that's currently in production so it will at least feel like i'm accomplishing something for the masses.

i like most genres but there is much manga out there that i don't like.

So, you have translation resource, and nothing else? Why not join another group, or try to make a joint deal? I'm sure there are plenty of group who'd welcome that, and would be easier to find resources that way, rather than trying to form a brand new team.

hi there... ^^; i'm a Translator looking around for work. =)

My Japanese experience:
- 4yrs of study in Japanese
- 1.5 of those yrs spent in Japan
- So-so at Kansai-ben XD

Uhm.. I'm not sure what I am interested in Translating... just nothing too technical. Stuff like Gundam is still really hard to me. o_x I'm not sure how often I'll visit Asuki but my e-mail is vampiremd@gmail.com!

We need deticated translators that'll help us, especially with happy seven, since our translator that had that project is now really busy. We also really need timers to get our projects going, also. Please contact us if you can help. And I'm also running out of ideas for karaoke, so please, if you can do karaoke effects, contact us. If you don't like doing the \k timing, we'll do it for you.

But we REALLY need someone to do the effects. we also need people to coordinate our torrents (i.e. we'll send the files to you so you can help us seed in the beginning, right after we release).
We have Beet Exelion episode 1 already translated, but we need some people to help us with the karaoke and also with the timing and typesetting.
