Falcom is making a PlayStation 4 game

Quote:

Last week, Falcom announced a sequel to The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki, and teased a mystery game alongside it. Could this be Falcom’s PlayStation 4 project?

In related news, Dengeki also features an interview with Tecmo Koei producer Kenichi Ogasawara, who says a new development related to Toukiden is in preparation. The title is still not decided, but it is a fairly big project, Ogasawara said.

Finally got mine, yesterday. Downloaded all the Plus and cross-buy stuff I could, along with ACIV (for nine bucks, it was quite the nice upgrade) and Killzone. Not a bad start, I would say.
Resogun is awesome. Contrast is a little weird, but I enjoyed the mechanics.

Now, where's my Dragon Age Inquisition?

I thought Resogun was going to be that game, but then I started chasing multipliers, and I get stressed trying to reach 10x, 15x.

Now my destressing game... is Pinball Arcade and Zen Pinball.

Yes, someone else here is playing Pinball Arcade.

BTW, is this your first time playing Pinball Arcade, or have you played it on the PS3/Vita/Steam as well?

My friend couldn't find a PS4 after a Europe trip (France, Italy, Germany), and they said even with the pre-order now, he couldn't have the PS4 before April. Good gosh. If only the Asia's price isn't so gouging...

Please don't remind me of the idiocy. I had to even double check it when I heard it on the news outlet.

Especially since we know there aren't even any blockbuster games. All they had to do was to wait 6 months and it would become easy to purchase... It s insane to kill for something that would become less scarce over time.

Nope, was never into playing Pinball games before.

Before: Eh, why would I play Pinball games? I never liked them on Windows 95, and those tables, so expensive. :/

During : Hmm, PS4 at launch has few games, might as well try all of the available demos + free games. Oh, there's a free table.

After: Holy Shit I'm the Slayer of Genies and Saviour of Princesses. This is fun.

PS1, PS2 and PS3 streaming to many devices like PS3, PlayStation Vita, televisions, tablets, and smartphones!

Quote:
In addition to PlayStation platforms, most 2014 US models of Sony’s BRAVIA TV lineup will support PS Now. Eventually the service will expand beyond PlayStation platforms and Sony devices, allowing you to stream PlayStation games across a broad range of Internet-connected devices.

PlayStation Now will allow you to:

Play video games instantly across multiple devices, similar to the way you might stream TV, movies, and music.
Stream full games to all of your compatible PlayStation devices including PS4, PS3, and PlayStation Vita as well as non-PlayStation devices, beginning with 2014 BRAVIA TV models and expanding to numerous other Internet-connected devices.
Always play the most updated version of your game. With games hosted in the cloud, you can take your game with you – just log in with your Sony Entertainment Network account on a compatible device and your games and saved progress will be easily available.

We want to offer you choice when it comes to how you want to access content on PS Now, so you will be able to rent by title for specific games you are interested in. We’ll also offer a subscription that will enable you to explore a range of titles.

Ridiculous number. And they have yet to fulfill all the pre orders.

Also lol at Sony's 5 million by the end of FY13 target. They will smash that mid January. Lowballed like crazy.

To be honest, I don't think PS4 is going to sell quite well there. Japan is a handheld nation now unless there's really something on PS4 that will really change the Japanese market.

If PS4 flops in Japan, so does every other console there as well.

With that being said, I'd say that PS4 can achieve 5mil at least.

Japan is a given stronghold for Sony, the only issues there is the actual number of unit it will actually sell in comparison to PS3 as people have stated that it's been shifting toward a mobile market. Even handhelds are no longer as popular as it was. Sony will probably have to roll out major japanese centric titles soon to get people interested in the system as the current crop of launch titles are more geared towards a western market.

Eventhough 4.2m sales is a great boost for marketing the new console to the mass market, it still to be seen how long both console can maintain their sales momentum. Granted China recently lifted the ban of consoles so Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft should still see an major uptick in console demands.
