when i said more realism i didn't mean to say so real that its an animated version of Ultimate fight club. It just seems that the writer is falling into the dragon ball trap, where next person he fights is always exponentially better then he is and if it wasn't for his fighting spirit he would fail. I mean seriously at a certain point the next person you face isn't going to be better then you its all in how your strengths and his weaknesses clash that determines how difficult an opponent will be.



ps. real punches would be nice too, just a thought

Well that is KBG roots are. "FIGHTING SPIRIT" all of them have it and is proven at most battles even side characters Aoki and Kimura.

the fighting spirit isn't the problem, its the main characters lack of fighting spirit from the start of a match that's lame. It would be nice if he would put more effort in to defense as he dose in to offense.

Its funny you say that because the creator has been a part-time cornerman for years. Not only does he watch real boxing, he's right up at ringside on a fairly regular basis...

He owns a gym and I believe a national champ belongs at that gym.
The periodical break he takes is probably for him to take sometime off but also for him to go to one of his athlete's match.
