Hina in this season was one of my favourite characters too! I can't say the same about Hina in the first season, but I didn't like Suiseiseki back then either. They were both a bit negatively one-dimensional at first, but developed a lot later.

Well, no matter what, I think the "squashed wide face with big eyes" concept of anime character design fits dolls better than humans. I've always thought such a design was a bit grotesque and ludicrous for the female human, but dolls are a different matter.

Ah, never before in my life have I made so many forum posts in one day! I guess it's because I'm leaving HK for the UK tomorrow (university tour), and I doubt I'll have internet access there, heheh. I.e. "enjoy it while it lasts" mentality.

Hmmm the thing about the RM doll designs apart from the glassy eye effect and joints they seem as human like as Jun or Nori.... The thing I like is their costumes. Also it doesn't seem weird them wearing the same clothes because they are dolls, some other animes really need to get their characters to change their clothes once in a while, smelly!!!!

I'd like to scream YES!!! but... remembering that one of the major points I liked about Sui was that she kept bullying Hina, and that almost all of the most ~desu moments would be impossible without Hina, I'm forced to think. So, realistically, No, i don't think so, unless in the absence of Hina, Sui terrorized another doll with the same results (actually I'd like to see her terrorize Gin in S3 Don't lynch me!!!)

But if you mean it as a comparison between Hina and Sui, I like Hina very much, but Sui's still the favourite.

That would be an eye opener, I bet off the bat it will be your chibi chibi master can't even get out of bed, whilst mine can support 3 maidens without breaking into a sweat (of course she would never say this when Jun is there). Followed cutting a hole in the torso area of Gins clothes and of course replacing the contents of her Yakult with sour milk.... Hmmmm actually it's not the same without Hina, not that I want to see her get bullied...

You have to watch episode 2 first and then episode 1..
It also helps if you have the pacience to read many of the posts in the Suzumiya Haruhi section, in order to understand what's realy going on..

Its a nice serie for a few laughts Sowly, and its not long either.., only 14 episodes..
Go grab episode 2 now !
