Yeah, that's a surprisingly realistic touch - closers have their own theme music in lots of American ballparks now, and that sounds like a tune you might hear at one of them.

Yeah. I wish they would of made it a tad more realistic and had a few of the players on the team leave to go to the majors. But it's a minor annoyance.

So... After a fugly victory tonight, my fantasy football franchise is in the title game next week. My franchise, of course, is the Mifune Dolphins - so I thought it only appropriate to re-watch some classic eps of Major to try and get some positive juju going. Problem is - in looking back at three seasons, Goro never really won a title! Seems his heroism is in fighting as the underdog against huge odds and single-handedly coming up just short but winning the moral battle. The Dolphins won their clash with Yokohama Little, but ended up losing in the next round without the injured Goro. His Seishu HS team came up just short in their titanic battle with Kaido. Maybe the Memphis Bats win the AAA championship - but with 4 eps of S4 unsubbed, I don't want to spoil myself and find out. It's quite the dilemma...

I'm pleased to announce that the Mifune Dolphins SDFL franchise (unlike Mifune Little) won their league championship tonight. Apparently watching Mifune beat Yokohama Little in Major #26 and the snow fight from "Sword of Doom" was enough good karma to carry me through. Doskoi!!

Yeah, I have always been amused at that as well. And season 3 he never beat any rival or anything like he did in season 1 (toshi's team), season 2 (toshi's team again and later the scholarship and varsity team). season 3 was pretty much a complete failure for goro as far as completing his main goal goes. im feeling good about season 4.

i just saw episode 104 and it was a great ending for his minor league. is there going to be more after this? or are they done? anyone know? i'm a big major fan. been watching and following this series forever

New season starts in this week or next Jimbasushi and there is movie too.

And manga is still ongoing so there should be more seasons still after 5th one! atleast i hope so. Major is kind a popular still in Japan.
