Anyway, I don't see why there was confusion earlier about how guilt comes into play in this show. It has been explained that Shu is the primary person who feels guilty -- not just about using his friends/people as tools, but about people being hurt/deceived/used wrongly in GENERAL it seems. Also about his own lack of usefulness (and possibly whatever has happened in his past involving flashback girl).

And as for person's emotions maybe it's because the stronger the bond between Shu and the person which void he extract from the stronger the weapon becomes. It's like in persona that the stronger the bonds the stronger the persona is. In here you can see the normal badass sword in episode 2 turn into maou badass sword in episode 04. It looks stronger than before when Shu accepted and believe in Inori. So maybe emotions and feelings can make the void weapon stronger and it further proof on episode 06 or maybe it's just because of the other girl inside Inori or maybe sealed inside her or who ever she is. Which made it possible for the merging of void and for it to go that strong.

If everyone already has void within themselves, what could Shu's void be?
Also, how come Gai can see other people's inside void? Could it be that maybe Shu is the only person who could use the "king's power" from the beginning. The key was just to unlock his seal power, maybe. Gai probably knows all about it and might be manipulating the situation while pretending to be upset that Shu used the key instead of him. |

Inori's look alike is talking to him. Then she's covered in red crystals with her hair standing up with a mannequin like look to her, then we see a bunch of stuff in flames, we see a glimpse of the GHQ director 10-30 years younger, a dead blonde kid is on the ground bleeding, we see a picture of a boy with light brown hair smiling, we a picture of a woman with a boy with dark brown hair, we see some cross falling to the ground w/ flames in the background, we see Inori on a snowy evening... I got the impression Inori's original went berserk and she killed a ton of people. And from Inori's cryptic words, she probably lost control 'cause Shu (or Shu's original) failed to stop her. The kid lying on the ground could have been Gai's brother or son. This would explain why seeing Inori is painful to him. Gai is related to the blonde kid that's totally messed up on the ground due to the blonde hair. Shu and Inori seemed to have screwed up big time in their previous lives or something like that. Quote:
When Shu gets arrested, they treat him like he's worth a billion dollars. They don't rough him up, they feed him, they treat him like he's made of glass. Look at how they treated the other guy. They totally manhandled him, had him chained in the dungeon. If someone were to turn bad guy it could be Gai. Both the GHQ and Gai could be working for a more powerful organization and all of this could be a gigantic/elaborate war game to test Shu and Inori. Gai survived the leukocyte, he knew what Shu's pen did, he knows everything about GHQ, he gets blood from Inori or another source. How is this? Last edited by mechalord; 2011-11-24 at 06:12. |

The official site updated not long ago with the cover of the first DVD/BD volume. Redjuice delivers as usual:
Spoiler for DVD/BD Vol.1:
Spoiler for Larger, textless, full version::
Surprisingly, they didn't go straight for Inori's clevage for the first volume. |

I like the simplicity. There's just enough of the image and the overall composition isn't overdone. My only beef with it is that they're putting white text on a white background. Bad move, I'd rather they put a fitting colour for the background.

Since episode 7 is gonna start in a few hours, i'm gonna guess that the excuse that Shu's back in school with his classmates is either:
*A case of mistaken identify and Shu was later released with the charges drop. *The GHQ were questioning him for information and later let him go after they were done with him.

Gai negotiated with Segai last episode to get rid of Shu's criminal record and involvement with the Funeral Parlor in exchange for getting rid of the falling satellite mess.
Nothing is stopping Shu from going back to school. He may get some bad rumors, but that can be easily cleared when they can't confirm it with the GHQ officials everywhere. |

Not that Segai is the most trustworthy person around, of course. But considering his fascination with Shu in his battle-state, I don't see him doing anything totally traitorous to him anytime soon.

All I'm hoping for right now is that Shu and Inori quickly get past this misunderstanding/problem between them.
Yes, I'm a sucker for romance.

^Do not worry you're not the only one . I'm the same. Yet I read of people that said that for what Inori did the paring is died.I mean ,ok even I did not like what she did in episode 5,but said like that , is as if people can not be wrong or never change .
