Down on the ground, Nobuyuki was finishing up on some unlucky Gadget Drones while Anne and Lian took out another group. Arvis was dealing with two of the big versions of the Drones, easily sending both of them onto each other. Nobuyuki took a look on the sky, and saw the King Raven moving out of where it was supposed to drop off the rest of Sky Squad.

“Good, they’re in.” he said to everyone else, and all of them moved towards the entrance. Before they could all get in, an explosion suddenly appeared in front of them, effectively destroying the entrance. As they looked back, all of them saw a large mechanical object, larger than the circular-shaped Drone they were just facing. It had 4 legs, two small arms that had what looked like to be revolving cylinders on the palms of it, and a cannon on the top, aimed straight at them. The object fired at them, first with its own cannon, then spraying the ground with fire from its arms.

“Damn it, this day is getting worse and worse…” Nobuyuki thought to himself as all of them took cover behind whatever they could find.

Background Information

Cero, as people call him, was born as a royal prince in one of the few countries not under the imperial rule of the Grand Emperor of that world. He lead a peaceful life in the royal family's castle, and was served by 13 young and beautiful girls from the 'Se' clan.

At the age of eight, he started his training in the arts of their country's unique magic combat style. This method had long been practiced by their people way before the Administrative Bureau made contact with the Grand Emperor. In fact, it is what kept the Valmarian Kingdom in power as the other kings feared this unknown strength of their. Branding the Valmarians as the children of demons.

But once the knowledge of Magic spread throughout the world, the Valmarians lost quite a bit of power when the surrounding countries didn't fear them as much now.

When Cero turned thirteen, one of his father's Generals staged a coup. The man was said to be backed up secretly by the surrounding countries who had feared the Valmarians for a very long time. It was later that Cero found out from Jeno and Lance who were sent there that the General was in fact a follower of Baldur's cult.

The death of the royal family of Valmar, who had been practicing Loki's former faction's 'dark' magic, had been in fact one of the hundreds of ways to summon Baldur's Avatar.

With the help of two Destroyers, Cero took back control of the castle and fought off the attackers. But he was too late to save his family... In rage, he unleashed the full power of his magic which not only killed the traitor, but also caused the entire castle to collapse. They barely had time to escape themselves.

During the coup, many of his people had either flee, or were killed. With nothing left for him here, Cero agreed to become a Destroyer after Jeno and Lance had witness his 'scary' power. Cero had originally intended to dismiss his 13 servants as he is no longer a prince, but they refused and wanted to stay with he till the end.

These days, Cero spends his time with his harem, and improving himself in his unique combat style...

Pausing, wondering about what had just occurred, the orange-haired gun wielder gathered up her resolve and burst into the corridor, the door sliding open neatly. She aimed Cross Mirage ahead of her- and it was only then that she took notice of the ghastly sight before her eyes.

The bodies of soldiers were dotted about the seemingly deserted place, lying on the floor or slumped against the wall in bloody heaps. The wounds dealt to them were definitely not those of a firearm, as evidenced by the slashes in their garments. Claret was smeared on the walls, evidently making it clear to the girl that the attacker possessed more than just a bit of strength, and even a dent was present- most likely formed after some poor soul had been subjected mercilessness in the mystery that had transpired here.

As she progressed further down the corpse-laden passageway, she caught ear of a strangled choking sound. Halting instinctively, pressing herself against a wall and peering around it, she glimpsed the intruder.

It was a man in black, carrying a sole knife in hand, which was currently impaling the last defender in the corridor who was suspended above him. In a swift motion, he flung the soldier sideways, the limp form crashing into a wall and dropping to the ground. Teana averted her eyes towards the cadaver then quickly turned back- only to discover that the unknown figure had disappeared, the door on the other end of the passage having just closed.

Deciding not to message her commander, she tightened her grip on her device, and followed after the enigmatic character.


Griffith Lowran wasn't having the best of times.

Crouched up against the wall, shivering in fear, the situation wasn't exactly stellar. He glanced up at the man in front of him, his voice brimming with unadulterated fright, and he stuttered as he forced out his words.

"W-w-who...who are you?!"

The cloaked man, who, Griffith noted, also wore a mask, did not respond for a while, eventually drawing a bloodstained blade and pressing it against the cowering man's neck. The latter yelped in horror, and the former asked, coldly:

"Where is my friend?"

I know Griffith might not have been the best substitute for Otacon, and the same goes with...well, you can guess, for Fox. I did decide to leave the stealth camouflage bit out, but...I might put it back in if I revise this.

But, do tell me what you all think, fellow readers.

Wow, brings back memories of that MGS scene Griffith as Otacon though? Shari might've been a better substitute

I for one never thought I hear something like God Empress at all, or see a CC with all the reminices of Kha, right down to Spearengriff. Hell, even Vivio and the Barrier of the Saint King went in some ways to open up crazy possibilities for Kha's and Sakura's developments to heights I never dared to imagine before.

It's really unbelievable that all 3 of us tied ourselves to the Aces, made several intelligent guesses, and together recreated in some way a picture of canon.

Koumyou:*walking towards Cinque* Well then... I guess it's about time for you to go.

As Koumyou unloaded 2 catridges to use Shinden Issen to finish Cinque, he was interrupted by two more Cyborgs...

????: Aerial Cannon!

A burst of red light appeared in front of Koumyou and flew towards him and he barely managed dodge it

????: IS hatsudo, Breakliner!

A yellow Wing Road-like beam extended towards Koumyou and he instinctively jumped back and blocked the attack of a Red headed combat cyborg who has a similar weapon as Subaru

Cinque: Nove! Wendi! You saved me
Nove: Kisama! How dare you hurt Cinque-nee
Koumyou: Nee? So, you're her allies?
Nove:That's right, and you're gonna pay!

The red headed cyborg charge at Koumyou again, as it was a rather straightforward attack, Koumyou dodged it and attacked her with Mach Rush. He stopped at the 8th attack as she lost her balance and fell to the ground

Nove: kono....
Koumyou: Your melee power is superb but I'm gonna have to kill you if you're gonna get in my way

Wendi: Aerial Cannon

Koumyou used Shiden Issen to deflect the beam as another cyborg appeared, it was another red headed cyborg

Koumyou: Yare, yare, is red the trend nowadays?
Wendi: She said you won't be hurting Cinque-nee but you won't be hurting Nove as well
Nove: Wendi, you saved me.
Wendi: No prob, what are sisters for?
Koumyou: I'd hate to break up this soap opra but, if you two are gonna stand in my way... Arleon

As Koumyou hung one of the Arleon Duals in the air, illusions of it generated

Nove: Don't think that the same trick will work twice you illusionist bastard

While Nove and Wendi were more or less concentrated on the illusions, they did not realise the Koumyou standing there was an illusion as well. He took the chance and used Sonic Impulse to get in front of Nove

Koumyou: *Appears in front of Nove* You were saying?
Nove: What!?! When did you-

Nove was struck back as Koumyou attacked her with Arleon.

Wendi: Nove! Aerial Beam!
Koumyou: Useless, Heavy Shield
Explosion, Heavy Shield

A sea green shield appeared in front of Koumyou and deflected the beam away

Koumyou: Now then...

Koumyou: Shinden...Issen!

As Koumyou charged forward with Shinden Issen, Wendi deployed a shield but the attack cut through her shield and she took a direct hit and was knocked back by the impact

Cinque: Don't forget I'm not dead yet!

As Cinque made a few stingers in front of Koumyou, she detonated them, but Koumyou deployed another shield and managed to block the attack this time, including the impact

Koumyou: You're explosions have become weaker....
Cinque: I don't need them at full power to defeat you
Komyou: Oh really? Considering how I've managed to thrash the three of you around, including damaging you main frame... I wonder if you really don't need it at full power
Cinque: The doctor's data did not get leaked, how did you know about the main frame of the sentou kijinn
Koumyou: I know more than you think I know, well then, I'll finish things this time, for good
Explosion

As Koumyou was about to finish off Cinque, a green portal appeared and Cinque got pulled into it, along with Wendi and Nove

Koumyou: Hmph, they escaped with another IS, well, this saves me the trouble

But before Koumyou could take another step, the cave exploded, with debris and rocks flying out, almost hitting him

Koumyou: Tch, they blew up the lab? Damn that Jail...

That's all kinda rushed things at the end
