Just like DxD, put Rebecca in charge of the harem. She has all the experience in managing people.

It may not be as easy to manage this harem. You have all kinds of women/girls who are not exactly very close to each other as well as having different background/status. Well, that's the price he will have to pay for having a harem.

Silvia, Jessica, Lukka, Anya, Eco, Mordred, Lucrezia, and Linda went with Ash to meet his mother.

Cossette isn't in this novel as far as I can tell.

The other girls stayed behind at the Academy for various different reasons.

As for their reaction, they were shocked Ash had such a beautiful mother, to the point where when Ash's mother begs him not to go fight Cassandra who attacks the village (she learns that Ash's father is there and wants to kill him), they note that the moment seems more like between lovers rather than Mother and Son, leaving Ash speechless at their accusation. (There is a comical moment where Ash's father is a little jealous and no nothing came from it, it was just quick humor).

The Harem doesn't learn that Ash's father is the bad guy, nor do they learn about Ash being descended from Rosa Maria, apparently all it takes is a mask and a change of the tone of your voice to hide your identity.


And yes, the reason Ash can ride any dragon is because he is descended from the first breeder, as can all of the members of his line.

Interestingly enough Ash's father is somewhat cheerful and easy going, he asks Ash and Linda for a hug when he meets them. (Although Ash didn't really seem thrilled about it). He is also actually rather proud of his son and what he has accomplished.

Mordred? Welp, turns out she's not entirely evil or something, and Cassandra (the EVIL BITCH) had a moment of decency/sanity and transferred Mordred to Anya. Mordred manifested like Eco did (as a young girl) and has apparently agreed to stop fighting with Eco long enough to defeat Ash's dad, who is trying to destroy the world. Or something.
