There will also be a special program being broadcasted prior to the The IDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls to celebrate the New Year. The special, titled The IDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls ~TV Anime Before New Year’s Cinderella Special Broadcast~, will be a live action program featuring 4 members of the anime’s cast: Sayuri Hara, who voices Mio Honda, Ruriko Aoki, who voices Riina Tada, Haruka Yoshimura, who will voice Mika Jougasaki, and Rei Matsuzaki, who is voicing Kirari Moroboshi. The special will be broadcasted on January 2nd at midnight.

Not quite the WTF level of first episode as IM@S did, but CG first ep was nice if kinda flat at the moment since it was pretty much the standard recruitment episode. Killer Stoic Producer is somewhat hilarious to watch though and a drastic departure from 765's Broducer.

Did like all the cameos from the other parts of the franchise, with 765, 876 and even Jupiter making appearances on print at least, at least showing that CG is part of a larger world.

Haha this Producer is very awkward in a good way. His actions are funny to watch. Uzuki (not a Haruka clone luckily) and Rin are likable too. Also all the unknown girls... at least I knew about the 765 girls before watching, not this CG girls though besides Rin so hopefully it will be interesting to get to know their personalities in the coming episodes.

Yay, more idol anime! The episode serves as a neat and lax introduction and it was enjoyable to watch for sure. The cameos make the world seem much bigger as well. I can't wait till Ranko appears.

What a cute girl despite her coolness already. The OP song is alright and this first episode was a decent setup. Not sure what I think about the producer yet as he is quite different from the original season.

The producer was pretty awesome . Easily one of the best parts of the episode. Can just sympathize with the guy. He's tall, has a scary look on his face, and seems a bit awkward with people. Probably deferred to the "because of your smile" answer because it was easier than articulating the legitimate reason.

Kind of interesting as well how each of these girls shown in the first episode get scouted. Uzuki being a girl who didn't make the cut in previous auditions. Rin being someone he saw on the street. And Mio actually going through a more normal looking kind of recruitment interview.

Makes sense for a lot of the focus being on Rin's recruitment since it was the most unusual. Wasn't really considering being an idol or anything until she got approached, consistently. I guess she got his attention because of the presence she has.

Not a bad start, will see how things turn out for this show.

The idols are fuckin back! This was a pretty good introductory recruitment episode. I'm really loving Uzuki and Rin, and the opening dancing bit was fabulousssssssssssssssssss.

In a way, it's sorta like the Rin Shibuya introduction episode, almost to the point that you could have sworn she is the main focus for the next 13 episodes. Still was a rather great start, with the Producer immediately having quite an impact despite looking like he can kill someone.

Also yes, gotta love all the cameos of the past idols. Gotta smile at the Takane poster in the police box.
