so 5.5 was very sweet. there was some really nice development for Akari x Akitsuki. but sadly no Alicia.. life feels so empty without a new ep every week..

Man, I need to visit Venice.

Finally watched ep. 5.5.
Such a great addition to the series. Great episode. Towards the end the Origination was such fireworks that such a mellow episode was a great change of pace.

It was also a bit of a reminder how much I miss Aria.

The 3 bonus poster on the summer releases of Comic Blade are :
1 - Prima Undine Akari
2 - Group drawing Akari, Aika & Alice before being prima
3 - Group drawing Alicia, Akira & Athena

There are also two more posters for another promotional operation one is another Prima Undine Akari and the other while remaining of mystery is probably Pair Ai-Chan.

Just wondering, any of you out there get your hands on the Origination Perfect Guide book? HLJ seems to be conveniently out of stock, and I'm wondering if it's worth the pursuit.

At the bottom of the 2nd URL mentioned above is a reference to times during 15-17 August which is when Comiket 74 is being held in Tokyo. The text says something about postcards. I presume this means special limited-edition Aria stuff is going to be handed out/sold at Comiket.

Luckily I looked in this thread, I didn't even know there was an episode 5.5 made.

Just finished watching it and it would've been nice if more characters were included but the Akari x Akatsuki moment made up for it. I'm a sucker for the little bits of romance in Aria.

Bad news...apparently Eri Kawai passed away yesterday.

For those of you who don't know, she did the singing for Athena, amongst other things.

I'm going to miss her singing voice, I remember I was listening to it so much when I regularly watched ARIA every night before I went to sleep (I know, I know) that my body clock and playlist was pretty much tuned to waking up with Kawai Eri singing Cocollo. I kid you not.
