Naturally. Mikoto found out and told Shizuku. In return, Shizuku used her wealth and connections to get them the room next door ... looks like a smart decision from her.

Mikoto is just a sporting girl.

She will support Shizuku also if Akane goes too far ahead.

I think she had selfish motives here ... by involving Shizuku, she could stay in touch with them. It's preferable to be there with Shizuku than not to be able to get there without her.

I don't think she likes Natsuru more than just as a brother. But she does not want him to be a "player".

I'd say she's liked Natsuru for ages, and she's only been waiting that he

o realizes that she's grown into a pretty and desirable woman
o realizes that his crush on Sakura won't lead anywhere.

So, in conclusion, that she's the girl he should be with. How do we know?

1) Daily postcards. Sorry, but sisters don't send their brothers postcards on a daily basis.

2) Naked Apron Curry serving. It comes without saying that this has a strong sexual/seductive element. Mere sisters don't do that. It's rather that she wants to be noticed by him. And she wants to prove that she's no kid anymore.

3) Teary reaction to the Shizuku date. If she had no designs of her own, why would she react so extremely to learning about the Shizuku date? It's because she realizes with horror that the long-run mate which she felt certain about is in serious danger to be taken away from her. Kaede might be a childhood pipe dream, since it's clearly not requited. But an aggressive-positive Shizuku is an entirely different matter!

4) Mikoto's insistence on "ain't I looking great?" confirmations. A sister wouldn't care about that.

Poor girl. I don't give her a real shot, unfortunately. Even though I like her alot.

Lol... very well put and equally hilarious. The hilarious part comes from the fact Akane is in the mix of grand scheme of things in motion. Yes, her impression on Natsuru is negligible but her presence inside of him is undeniable. She brings balance to the force.

If there was a second season behind it then i would be ok with it. But if the series wrapped up with him permanently stuck in female form i would give that thumbs down. I like female Natsu too but in the end Natsu is still a guy and i think his parents and a number of other people in his life might notice a slight change

Fairly detailed summary this time. Avoid if you don't want to get spoiled. My JP is poor, so there
might be some TL glitches, but I'm relatively sure I got it 90% right where it counts.

Spoiler for ep10:

o Akane is woken by Shizuku's voice, but in her daze she believes her to be Natsuru,
and leans in for a kiss. Barely in time she realizes it's Shizuku and first freaks,
then reconsiders when she realizes that it would be an indirect kiss with Natsuru
to follow through. So she requests one after all ^_^ (which turns out to be with her
seppuku kurousagi though)

o Shizuku and Mikoto tell her that Natsuru and Sakura are missing and that they want
to go look for them.

o Natsuru and Kaede are sitting outside watching the fireworks. Natsuru is "aware"
again, but confused, since he can't remember why the two of them are alone. Dark
Kaede moves in on him, and Natsuru feels that something is off: No matter how much
he pretends not to be frightened, he flinches when she touches his face. And to
Natsuru's surprise, Dark Kaede asks him what he's thinking of Shizuku.

o Akane, Mikoto and Shizuku meet again on the festival, but they haven't found them
yet. Some girl bonding over how hard everyone of them has it with Natsuru, and how
much better the others have it, and how far they got... then they split up to
search some more.

o Natsuru answers that Shizuku is gorgeous, cool and perfect... but also scary and
a bully. Without putting him under, Kaede insists that Natsuru's heart knows that
he likes her, but Natsuru still resists. Dark Kaede forges on that he should
PLEASE grow to love her and to make Shizuku his own. He still resists and says that
it's impossible for him, but she insists, leaning in in full seductress mode, licking
his ear and says that once he manages to sleep with Shizuku, she will _reward_ him.
And she finally puts his conscience under, with him accepting her words, and she
leans in to kiss him, but just prior to the deed she pushes him away and rushes off,
because transformed Mikoto jumps at him.

o First Mikoto, then Akane and then Shizuku (all in Kämpfer mode) arrive and demand to
know what he was doing. Natsuru has transformed to Kämpfer too and is completely
clueless what happened and how she got there. Also, where is Kaede? The girls drag
Natsuru back to the hotel.

o In the hotel they're running into Kaede coming out of her room who apologizes for not
having gone with them to see the fireworks. All of them had reverted to normal, and
Natsuru replies that she HAD seen the fireworks with him, to which Kaede (normal mode)
wonders what he's talking about. Shizuku is eyeing Kaede full of suspicion, but remains
silent, and Kaede suggests to go to the bath together.

o Back in their room with Natsuru, Akane complains that he has gone out alone with Kaede,
and Kaichou has kissed him, and... she wants a kiss too. So she puckers up and raises
her face, but till the end, Natsuru can't bring himself to follow through. So she
hides under her blanket to cry, and Shizuku calls on the phone to order him to the
bath, pronto. In girl form. Upon hearing that, with revived vigor, Akane decides to go too.

o Fanservice scene when (normal) Kaede glomps female Natsuru in the bath for skinship, and
then to feel her breasts. Mikoto and Akane are awed, and then join in.

o Finally free of them, female Natsuru catches a breather in the bath, when Shizuku joins
and asks about what they had done when he was alone with Kaede. With slurring speech,
female Natsuru begins to answer, but her eyes glaze over. Shizuku notices this, but halts
and sees Kaede joining them. Soon thereafter, Shizuku leaves, and with Dark Kaede resurfacing,
she tells Natsuru with her eivil trademark smirk "You know what you have to do... right?"

o Cut to Shizuku's room, where she's drying her hair clad in a Kimono. She voices pleasant
surprise that he has come to her, and Natsuru (male) replies that he wanted to talk to her
some more. Shizuku takes the opportunity to get ready for some more seduction, but he
actually grabs her and pushes her down on her bed (with his eyes still glazed over)

o Eyes wide open in shock, Shizuku asks what this was all about, and what his reason was for
doing this, to which he answers "Shut up! You're going to become mine!" ... Shizuku blushes
on that and switches to seductress mode, essentially telling him that she was fine with
that, but he should rather hurry up, since the others could return any minute. And after some
more exchanges about "first times", Shizuku puts his arms around him and kisses him. And
caused by the kiss, Natsuru "comes to" again.

o Still in Shizuku's embrace, he doesn't recoil, but continues with a frightened, sweating look
on his face. Shizuku continues with the seduction, moving Natsuru's hand on her breast, then
even on the breast under her Kimono. This was Natsuru's first time touching a breast, too?
Good. Every first of Natsuru would be hers. EVERY first. Seeing Shizuku writhe in pleasure,
Natsuru shrieks up again with a panicked face, and Shizuku begins to notice that something is
wrong. It's as if Natsuru was fighting with himself.

o Shizuku's asking him why he really came here.
Well, he was sent...
by who? (serious)
S... Sss... (struggling as if against something)
By Kaede? (warmth gone from the voice)
(With great effort, Natsuru nods, seemingly in pain and bathed in sweat)
(Shizuku's smile is gone) That's just too bad...
(She's kneeing him in the solarplexus and karate-chops the back of his head, knocking him out)

o Shizuku is getting up and fixing her kimono again. Natsuru is out cold.
"I still have some pride left. And I don't want to have sex with someone who has been ordered
to do so."
(Slight smile returns to her face)
"Next time, come by your own will".
(She leans in to kiss on his cheek)
"I wonder if I have wanted to do it anyway?"

o Dark Kaede is sitting in a hotel room with the 4 white Kämpfer lounging on a bed, more naked
than clothed. "Men are really useless". She's rallying her forces, who are more than happy to
oblige Kaede-sama... for a reward, please?

o Next morning, Mikoto is genki and looking forward to play, Akane glances at male Natsuru worriedly,
who is obviously still a bit groggy (and clueless about what happened). Shizuku and normal Kaede
arrive, and Shizuku asks if he's okay. Upon hearing that he is, she's saying "I'm glad" in a relieved
voice and smiling at him, to which he shrieks up, as if he remembered something. Mikoto and Akane
rush off, Natsuru after them, and Shizuku and Kaede turn to follow aswell.

o Then, from behind, Kaede grabs Shizuku's shoulder, and in a menacing way Dark Kaede says "It would
have been better if you threw away your meaningless pride and just gave in!"
Shocked, Shizuku whirls around and brushes off Kaede's hand... who returns to "normal" and asks
what's up. Seemingly unsure, Shizuku apologizes and replies that it was nothing... and Kaede
moves on. Shizuku remains behind with a stern face. "So... as I thought... Kaede. It was you."

o Preview: Title is supposed to mean "Choice". Multiple fight scenes and Natsuru with glazed-over eyes.

It's a shame that the show is going to end in 2 eps when it just got sooo good.

OH DAMN i cant wait for this episode just from reading Mentars break down Shizuku has secured herself 100% as my fav character.

This is a very funny and atypical twist: The supposed "hero/heroine" is almost completely out of the picture and a secondary character absolutely steals the show.

More and more it seems to me that the whole Kämpfer business isn't really about Natsuru. Brutally put, evil Kaede couldn't care less about him/her, he's a TOOL for her. No, there must be something personal going on here. Why else would Dark Kaede target Shizuku?

Anyway, if you're rooting for the purple team, I know who I'd place my hopes on, and it sure isn't Natsuru.
