Yeah, Renya is the new protagonist of Taniguchi Goro's upcoming manga "Code Geass: Renya of the Dark". It's a different chapter, a piece of Code Geass history. The anime covered the Lelouch of the Rebellion chapter and this manga will cover the Renya chapter. It's the same timeline but this takes place during the Edo period. The Edo period ran from 1603 to 1868 which translates into 1658-1923 atb, in other words somewhere between 76 and 341 years prior to the birth of Lelouch. C.C. is old enough to be present though.

On Wikipedia, I did some research for you (Good question, actually) and said he was 17 of and 18 of R2.

This isn't very official, considering. But it may be as good as you get.

The CG wiki says something similiar to that, if not more... fancy.

Darn. Just noticed I still need something on his age during the first season, after all.
Or confirmation that the scan goes for R2 as a whole, not just the point of his death to be completely sure. Something proving that the thing with him having been ten during the invasion of Japan isn't just a fandom myth would also do the job.

But theoretically, he could have died at the end of December, couldn't he? Which would still make him 18, but born in 2000.

If Euphie was 16 when she died, and Lelouch was also 16 during that time (which is what the 2000 thing would mean), that would make her his older sister.
