Shouldn't the Zhao people have bee mad at their own general for ordering the soldiers to their own deaths? So i guess Zi Xia saw a little bit of herself in Zheng. Zheng certainly was smart and tough for his age. It was funny, but sad when he said "ah men again" and decided to leave.

Than again at that time there is nothing else he can do with 400k enemy soldiers... (food + they might revolt/joined enemy when they attack again/ can't send them back only to end up being attack by them again...etc) beside it's easier to hate some else than to hate your own stupidity... Ep 7 is one of my favorite episodes in a while. The pacing of the ep is just right, and had the right amounts of emotion. I enjoyed it so much I thought we were only halfway through the ep when it ended -- and I was pretty sad when I realized this. I want more of it.

It may not have been a highly moral act, but it did have some practical justification. According to Chinese Wikipedia and Baidu Encyclopedia, the two countries had been battling in that area inconclusively for years. If he had let the army go, all those soldiers would eventually have come back to fight against Qin, and the war could have continued indefinitely. By eliminating such a large body of men (probably not actually 400,000, but lots, anyway) he was acting rationally, if despicably. Apparently the Qin commanders let some Zhao teen soldiers go, so they would return to Zhao to spread despair.

Zi Xia(?) has probably the most gorgeous character design so far (dare I say over Kyoukai (Quiang or whatever lol)). Can't get enough of that prettiness! Couldn't help but look forward to her appearance after that gorgeous still of her in the ED.

I have fears that Xi Xia will die soon.
Hopefully, the next episode will be the last for this arc. It was nice, but I am looking forward to either more Xin action or Zheng outsmarting people action. I wonder why Zheng's mom was not part of the escape and went a different route? Did they believe that she would have an easier time moving around? Did they fear that she would betray Zheng?

I agree that the house money is that Xia dies. I kind of feel like what is appearing to be a transformative figure in Zheng's life would have been mentioned/seen by now if she was still alive "today". He does, after all, need some sort of catalyst to build the type of resolve to want to take China and remake it. Deaths are an easy plot device for making that happen.
