well you can click the link and it takes you to anidb which might help by showing whether or not its a prequal, sequel or other to the series. (each number with series name next to it is a link - the blue text)

i dont think theres much more to the seed series, only the special ending showing kira
Spoiler:

seems like anidb down at moment but im quite sure astray series is quite short. as in few minutes long.

The Entry here refers to the Astray promos. They are short six minute promos showcasing the Astray characters and MSV mecha. Frankly I don't even think they should be on this list, since many of the other Gundam shorts didn't make it (the Seed Character Theater shorts for example)

hey
sorry if this is the wrong thread for this
but since this is a general thread for info on all gundam shows then i have a question for any long time fans of the franchise
so far i have watched SEED, destiny, and 00
and in every one there is a specific scene or circumstance that happens
Spoiler for scene:

my question is this
does something like this happen in any OTHER gundam shows ?

Yes, it happened in 08th MS Team also. Though it's a common plot device in anime... In terms of mechs shows I believe Macross did it first. Note that these two didn't really take place in islands though, just that the characters were confined in a space and needed to work together to get out.

thanks for the overall answer
but i'm specificlly talking about a situation where is a male and female of two different factions (enemies)
macross had it with minmey and hikaru when they were on the same side, so that doesnt really count

is the 08th team similer to the situations i pointed out above ?

Didn't it happen in Gundam Wing too, with Relena and Heero? Though I don't it happened with a single episode.

08th MS Team. Just got around to watching it recently and i must say i was very impressed. Didn't think Gundam would work as a "Real robot" show but it was awesome, no haxor mechs in sight.

Its definitely in my top 3 alongside 0080 and Chars Counterattack.

Yes, Shiro (Earth Federation) and Aina (Zeon) are enemies. The only difference with the above two is that the episode takes place in a deserted/destroyed battleship as opposed to a deserted island.

turn a gundam is worth watching

quite amazing because... actually i dont want to say itll ruin the anime. but its got what your looking for and its the best gundam series (stress series) since gundam seed and gundam 00. gundam wing is like the kid factor, bunch of 12 year olds in robots and spoiled brats (no offence to gundam wing fans - everyone has their taste). I gave that series a chance 3 times and couldnt get into gundam wing, the characters were just to stupid and the gundams just ended up in places for some reason. But a lot of people have enjoyed this series so it may just be limited to my opinion of it. either way try turn a gundam - good anime with a great story and possibly the best developed relation ship in the gundam universe.

I also strongly recommend Eureka 7 (even tho this is a gundam thread).

Well, it happens in Macross too. Different anime though.
It also happens in Gundam 08 Team.
Yes, it is a cliche of sorts...
