Lyrical DS!
The DS stands for Dramatic Stories. Looks like it's a fandisc full of After Stories for these characters: Asakura Nanao, Takami Rin, Kuu and Arietta of Lyrical Lyric, along with Tsukimiya Kaede of Miraroma, and Yuki Nako of Konneko! It also seems to include a Daidouji Ryouko route for Lyrical Lyric (DO WANT!), and the last story is a Marmalade All Heroines story...wonder how that is. @_@ In any case, this one's on my "to look out for" list now, and I can't wait for Marmalade to publish more information regarding this one, since all the characters involved are all my favorite! >w<

Just a heart warming story I think, you can look through the earlier posts of this thread, KJ did a quite good introduction of it.

So if you have the original giniro game, just go here: http://nscripter.insani.org/sdk.html download the NSAout.rar from there, extract it, then run nasout.exe in the giniro game folder. It will give you all the resources of the game, including music in the ARC folder

Finally finished Yoake Mae Yori Ruri-iro na once. Now I can freely choose a path. Well, except Wreathlit's, since apparently, I still can't choose her path yet. Glad those anime-only character do not exist and never knew Midori had a different appearance from the PS2 and anime version Now if only "Sakura no Uta (サクラノ詩)" will be released... It keeps on getting pushed back...

Narika is just so awesome. It also helps that she's voiced by Sol Valkyr, making both of them completely irresistible tsundere lolis! Much love!
Also, her Papa is Master Asia! TALK ABOUT AWESOME!

I'm currently playing "D.C.P.K.~ダ・カーポーカー", a poker game within the Da Capo / Da Capo II universes. Specifically, Texas Hold'em (HELL YEAH!).
Main site here: http://circus.nandemo.gr.jp/sakuhin/dcpk/ I don't know much about the story for this game. One cool thing is, you can choose to play as either Junichi or Yoshiyuki. And here's something creepy, whichever you choose, you will eventually meet characters from both series as opponents. The only exception would be the Suginamis (e.g if you're doing the DC path, only DC Suginami will be an opponent. YOu won't even meet DCII Suginami, but you will meet and eventually have Wataru as one of your opponents) In addition to regular texas hold'em, there's also something called "Force Card Battle" or FCB. These substitute regular points for cards worth certain amounts of points, and you use them to bet. Unlike regular hold'em, if you lose the hand, those cards are gone for the rest of the match. If you win a hand, you only gain back what you bet. The conditions for winning an FCB are different as well. You only have to take down the host (usually the person with the highest amount of starting points) as opposed to eliminating EVERYONE. In addition to the standard 4 LEVELS of card, there are also special cards, unlocked by going through a character's path, for use in the final FCB. You can also discover some of these card when the main targets from earlier FCBs play their own card (may or may not happen). These cards have various effects. For example, one card allows you to swap out a card in your hand for a random card, with varying results. At least 2 cards adds additional points to your bet. I've just finished the second of the 3 final FCBs in the game on a second run-through (second run because I had to reload to an earlier save point to rearrange my card inventory. I kept getting my ass kicked by Minatsu during the final FCB because I didn't have enough points to compete)

@HashiriyaR32
So it seems that KBTKaiser was not the only person here who was interested in D.C.P.K. It does make me wonder if Circus really wants to milk the Da Capo franchise for all its worth... I am kinda interested in how the whole plot works, for both Junichi and Yoshiyuki. I think I remember that everyone kinda forgot Junichi/Yoshiyuki and the protagonists find themselves in a casino run by a mysterious green-haired... catgirl named Shiiren (who is voiced by Sakakibara Yui, oh wow )? Is this another of Junichi's/Yoshiyuki's wacky dreams? P.S. Listening to everyone's Clip #2 (the one with the girls saying "1 card, 2 card, 3 card, Royal Straight Flush~") was a pretty nice experience. I got the best kick from Nanaka and Nemu.. |

But yeah, with Aquanauts being delayed, I decided to get this game as well. Only problem is that I have no idea how to play poker (watched it on TV a few times, know the basic terms, but...), so this could be interesting! And yeah, I guess Da Capo is sort of becoming the "Mario" of the adult gaming world. Take any game concept, add the D.C. characters, and your sales are good to go! Well, so long as they keep things interesting, it's not like I mind... (/me is obviously in the target audience... ) |

"wants"? They ARE milking the franchise. XD I mean, something smells fishy when
they release 7 versions of the same game, not to mention spinoffs, etc. BTW, I finished Nemu's path an hour or two after my previous post and here's what I discovered. It's fun to play the final 4 FCBs while listening to a combination of Janne da Arc songs and select tracks from various Touhou Project soundtracks. Seems to fit because default game BGM for those 4 battles sounds a bit darker when compared to the others.
