It really annoys me when people start saying "You can't say an arc is X based on Y number chapters."

Yes...yes we can, we judge an arc by what we've seen of it so far and when more chapters are released we'll keep or change our judgement of the arc based on them all.
Simple as that.

Alright, fair enough. However, personally, I'd still much rather wait till we get to the half-way point of this arc before I decide whether or not this is a decent arc.

Personally I think this arc will be quite ok IF they managed to make it interesting after the introduction of the new bag guys. I just want to see more people involved in the fight, not only Oga vs the world + random Aoi/Toujou

And how do you decide when its halfway by some magical crystal ball? This manga was unpredictable a lot of times, finishing or prolonging things you wouldn't expect. Though this new arc is fricking boring, I might as well wait until its finished and read it in one go or even skip it entirely.

Nasu's face on page 5 reminded me of Hisoka from HxH.

I assumed that the Mr.6 and Mr.4 was a reference to one piece as they also got characters by them names. I also said that a few posts behide.

So far I am liking the new arc. Sure there are allot of new characters who may well be forgotten and have no impact on the story or any of the characters but doesn't mean the author can't have fun with it. Even if it may turn the chapters boring given that so far only Nasu seems like the only one who would impact the story the rest could well be there for just the fighting parts of the story as Mr.4 and Mr 6 clearly seem no match for Oga/Touhou/Aoi and Natume maybe Aiba.

I wonder what Oga meant by saying "How much do you know" to Nasu and Nasu replied to him "Know about what". I think he knows what Oga is capable of and Baby Beel's true identity. It seems Oga's ridicilous dream that he had before is going to come true. Also when Oga punched the wall and that pose was so badassery. Anyways it's going to be long arc since we also don't know other new villian's face so deal with it.

Well Aoi does know who this person is as she knew that person was behide the new forming of the red tails. If she was part of Misaki group back when they where the first gen why would she still be in high school if she would have been old enough to leave by now. I think it's one of those 2. But if I had to say..I'd guess Nasu. It seems like Akahoshi is like Oga from the past, he hasn't encountered his or a Beel-like entity, yet. But Nasu has.

I thought exactly the same. Or maybe there will be several contractors and Nasu will be the weakest of them. In any case, I'm sure he won't be the final boss of this arc.
