Well pure speculation about Miu dad:

-Name not in the graveyard.
-From strat of the manga: "miu parents are dead" that's what we were told.
-Nobody talks about miu dad.

So: Miu dad killed miu mother and is the "boss" of Yami.

Just a guess though. That's seem not to insane to me... is it? >_>
(just thought about it after seeing 170-172 with graveyard + the other from YOmi who seems too know much about Miu dad for some reasons... )

The kid not only knows how Furinji Saiga, but moves like him, too. Conclusion: he was taught by Saiga at some point.

Heck, Saiga may even be that guy who invited him to visit.

Well it was just a guess... maybe the last guy Kenichi has to fight is Miu's father?

Actually... I think the last person Kenichi is going to fight with is one of his masters.. If not all of them.

Since this series is highly on keen with actual martial arts, having Kenichi succeed his masters is a high possibility.

I think he will eventually have to defeat his masters but that would be like his last "test" in order to confront the last evil boss

But i dont think that will happen anytime soon... after all Kenichi is still at the diciples level, not even the strongest xD

Kensei looks more like a last boss. Since he was a former disciple(?) of Ryozanpaku, Kenichi must go and prove his superiority as a disciple.

Don't think so. Different name, and I think Shou would have called him "master" rather than "Furinji Saiga", when talking about him to Miu.

I'm saying he would - at first, when he's surprised and just blurt things out - call him by what he usually adresses him. If Saiga was his master, that'd be... Sensei? Shishou?

He acts the fool, but he's obviously quite cunning. Since he was saying it in a calm manner, you could assume it processed in his head as to what he should say.

I dont think Miu's dad is that close to Shou... he spoke of Saiga as someone not that close. The way he reacted when Hermit mentioned Kensei was totally different as Saiga. But since Shou seems to have many masters like Kenichi, it could be possible.

I am pretty sure that Miu´s father did not appear until now. The strongest ones of Yami may appear in a later time.

Ogata Ishinsai was never a disciple of Ryozanpaku since Elder did not accept him.

Kenichi will have to fight the members of YOMI while we might see some fights
masters of Ryozanpaku vs. YAMI. And in the end maybe Elder vs. Saiga... ?
Kenichi to surpass his masters may never happen or is the manga supposed to exceed the number of 500 chapters? ^^

the problem is when will that happen... the masters lvl is still too far away from Kenichi. I can imagine Kenichi with the flasy master eyes in the last chapter

My guesses:

1. Saiga vs Elder will eventually happen, Kenichi will be involved in the fight but not the main fighter. There could be a fight with Kenichi against Saiga's disciple at the same time.

2. Saiga may have turned evil because of his wife's death... maybe he let someone live, and later they killed her?

As for Shou, based on his moves he must have been taught by Saiga or someone else that Saiga taught at some point.
