Huh, well then. I guess they had to insert a sequel hook for the second movie somewhere. Looks like very nice animation, though.

Edit: Edit: Okay, that second rating was more reasonable, but what is there to gain from rating a movie you havn't even watched yet?
Er.... I haven't voted yet, I'm waiting for the movie to come out.

It's kinda hard to believe that your cousin would involve in something that isn't germane to him/her.

Plus, it's pretty hard to drag the mouse all the way to the bottom with such coordination and precision to hit the 1 area and click the 'vote button.'

Other than that, if it's true, I'd appreciate if a mod discarded it as well.

Maybe. I don't know the details of it myself, only that it's there.

I find it funny how people went straight from the theater to Yahoo! Auctions to sell their film pieces. At least we have a bunch of them to look at now :

Spoiler for Film band pieces:

Some of those already reach the 100$ .

Which is probably why they went straight from the theater to Yahoo! They know how anticipated this movie was, so they went straight for the big bucks.

Nanoha does look pretty badly hurt here...What i find interesting, is in the series version she was knocked unconscious...In this version she looks more damaged, but she's conscious.

To those who sounds so upset about the 1s voters, let it go, Kyoani fans have been dealing and living with this kind fo votes as well. Now, you sound kinda butthurt. Know what? People vote 1s without watching for quite a long time, the Nanoha Movie is no exception and time will tell.

Do you have a bigger image of that, by any chance? I can't really see any of it, so I don't know how badly hurt she is. I just see her on her back on the ground.

Much better, thanks!

But damn, that look on Nanoha's face. Looks like Fate really had her way with her and left her for dead.

Piecing together the scenes.

Should be Fate's reaction after she fights Nanoha.

Orz, my image thumbnailing is failing me for some reason.

- This is not in the TV version : Raising Heart trains Nanoha THROUGH IMAGE TRAINNING (It would seem that Nanoha is daydreaming). Nanoha does that when she is in the middle of the class.
actually this hasn't changed. Although I can't remember if it's in the first season, A's or the manga that explained it.

I thought it was from her very first apparition, but your suggestion works too.

Well, more pics :

Spoiler for Memorial Frames:

Is the Arf/Precia fight still in the movie? I didn't see it mentioned anywhere.

Was a short scene, but I'd say it's likely that it's there...There are a lot of scenes I havn't heard mentioned yet. But if it's faithful to the series, it has to be there.

My vote was just because I might as well have seen it. It looks good, but it's pretty much everything I've seen before. As I said, it would be the first movie I could watch raw, not needing subs.

I forgot to note that before she dealt the final blow to Nanoha, she DID say sorry.

But Nanoha still bleeds, so Fate is still crueler than her TV version counterpart if any.

The bridge scene remained the same. If there are any changes, maybe the animation and the camera angle.
Hence I did not note anything significant.

Yes it's still there.

The changes :

- Precia holds a staff instead this time. Whether she used it or not I don't remember much anymore.
- Arf's iris eye changed when she tore apart Precia's barrier.

The result of the fight however did not change

That makes things so much better. Fate hurting Nanoha without remorse is not the Fate I know.

Was there any other bleeding scenes? Or was that the only one?

I guess the producers wanted to make the scene to have more impact and emotion.

Don't think so...I have not seen Fate bleeding throughout the whole movie if any, except being tortured by Precia.

Maybe another watch to confirm...

Another few changes to note :

- During Fate and Arf's effort to collect all Jewel Seeds from the sea (that was when both Nanoha and Yuuno disobey Lindy/Chrono's orders for the first time), In the TV series, this is recently confirmed after I re-browsed through the TV series. Fate tried to claim all 6 at once. But in the movie, it's 7. Considering when Chrono fought Arf, he managed to took 4, left 3 only for Arf.

- During Nanoha and Fate's final showdown, Fate appears at Nanoha's back (though Nanoha was the one that calls Fate out from the hiding) before the battle starts and the location was no longer at the park where Nanoha walk towards Fate, it's at a certain fountain.

Another interesting to note :

- If you look at the scans of the booklet. Both Nanoha and Fate are listed as AAA rank mage. Yet in Striker S they both are A (S+ without limiter). Rynith is AA (though we did not see her fight). I would assume that Nanoha and Fate's "raw" power is controlled and restricted during the StrikerS arc.

- Precia is SS (lost the ranking since she did not renew hers(?) ), Lindy AA+. Chrono AAA+, Aricia E, Yunno A, and Arf is also A.
