Marcus already answered this, but yes all of the unfinished pages were properly touched up for the tankoubon version; however it not only stops there; one of the reasons of why I like the manga is because the amount of pages that Maybe retouches and redesigns for the tankoubon version is completely insane, he properly overviews and re-reviews pretty much everything and if he doesn't like something he changes it on the spot, Volume 4 (the one with the "sketchy") pages is not the exception in the amount of work he puts forth with a volume.

I don't mind the slice of life parts of this - it gives more 'weight' to the fact that they do enjoy each other's company...but eventually, it will be compromised. And that gives you that lil twist in your gut each time you see Yuuko so happy just being around Niiya.

Yeah....the true gem of Tasogare is not mystery. Never was....it's the drama and character interaction

Wow! Those retouches are absolutely godly. I didn't expect Maybe to give so much attention to detail for the tankouban release. Maybe this why the original magazine release came out really sketchy. I hope the scanlator group working on the manga can work on the tankoubans as well.

Kinda of a trivia, but -obviously- Hara also played Yuuko on the Tasogare Otome x Amnesia manga CMs. I don't know where I should look at when some of those posters flashed by

I'm glad to see that they are also promoting the Oreshura upcoming volume, even though it's nothing mayor.

I don't know if this has been brought up before but I thought of a possible conspiracy theory with Yuuko's younger sister/Kirie's grandmother. Don't you think that she might have a more direct influence to Yuuko's death? I think she may even the origin of some of the school's mysteries. She already knows much of her sister's demise (and probably withholding even more info) and is one of the school's senior authorities. Not to mention she only sees "Shadow Yuuko" which embodies her hatred and despair. Now she wants the old school building demolished which makes her even more suspicious. Perhaps she's ridden with guilt all these years and is doing whatever she can to lay Yuuko's spirit to rest in order to relieve herself.

Has anyone wondered if the skeleton is really Yuuko? I mean if the remain was just found now, then officially she should be 'missing', but instead all these stories floating around of people presuming she died at the school, but nothing to prove she died or died there at all.

I've had some suspicions. If Yuuko was sacrificed the way it seems, even if her sister wasn't directly involved, she may have known it was happening and not stopped it. Or she may not have been able to stop it, but convinced herself that she could have and thus feels guilty about it anyway. But one way or another, the fact that she sees Shadow Yuuko, but only Shadow Yuuko convinces me that she knew her sister's death was not an accident, and that her heart is not at peace with that knowledge. She believes that there should be a spirit of pain and rage and vengeance wandering the school, and so she sees it.

There were some extra pages I saw where Maybe actually admitted that he tends to over-sensualize Yuuko to the point that she no longer looks her (physical) age. There's no deep story-meaning involved: he just likes to make her look sexy.
