The manga story of the upcoming anime "K"
Or guess that I should say some sort of side-story?

The first chapter is translated and liking it so far. We could see a little of :
Anna the silent loli
Makoto, wonder about why he made the organization but guess we'll get more info in the anime)
Yata aka the skater boy who seems to get angry easily
Totsuka Tatara the typical calm guy
Kusanagi, in the PV he looked like Shizuo

Plus some manga-only characters (I think they're manga only, maybe they'll appear in the tv series too) who are all part of the Homra organization. Seems like it is very famous and only those chosen by Makoto's flame can join, they also gain powers thanks to the flame.

I think it doesn't have a thread or at least I didn't find it but you can delete this if there's already a thread.

Chapters 3 and 4 are translated.

About chapter 3, Chitose is such a playboy... It was great to know that there are people who randomly gain powers and not only from Mikoto.
I liked the woman (if the manga had more female cast aside from Anna....)
It was so random to see Makoto and the gang playing baseball

In chapter 4 two new characters appear, one from Homura (Fushijima) and another one who was picked up by Fushijima called Eric.
Eric hates Yata and insults him in English. Yata has the Edward Elric height complex.
Eric tried to attack Makoto while he was sleeping (he seems to have nightmares according to Tatara) but now he has to kill Tatara for someone?

Not only the anime, but the manga raises a lot of questions about Totsuka Tatara who is ALWAYS filming and Izumo affirms that even if Tatara isn't the fighting type, the organization has things easier because of him.

Hope the next chapter is released soon because it has got interesting.

It was nice seeing the world from Homura group. I wish there will also be manga for the lue team group, but they decide to novelize te blue group instead XD

I wonder just why people keep hunting for Tatara? Poor guy. Somehow I doubt Yashiro killed Tatara out of sheer randomness too.

That is what I was thinking. Perhaps his death weakens Red's power somehow.

I wonder is there reason why Tatara doesn't fight?

Anyway why is all the Strains seemingly so lulzy? Neko and now Maria....I think she'll show up again as long as Chitose is around...

Last part before everyone left to hunt for Tatara's killer was especially poignant

I would love to have Maria in the anime. I find her to be better as both comedy and fan-service material.

Yeah, I would also like Maria to appear in the anime. But I think that first the Homra sub characters need to appear more than being in the background...

I really liked Seiri during this chapter and had my SeirixIzumo moments.
Poor Basashi.
Saruhiko is annoying as always (did he really need to appear?)
Anna is too cute and they're still making us feel bad because Tatara is dead.

It is was a group tha got crushed by Homra before. Ch.4+5 is also Eric's flash back. In the end of the chapter, Eric is watching the films on the days when he first came to Homra that Tatara left behind, and the Homra gang talked about how Tatara is no longer with them. This part seems to be just right before they set off to hunt for Yahsiro

Spoiler for Chapter 5: It shows them mourning Tatara, but we still have the same amount of proof that he is dead. Can't help but wonder in that sort of situation. Interesting that Mikoto had Tatara's earring in the end, he had it in the first two chapters, not sure if that was a mistake or if the first two chapters happened after this one. It seems from the last two stories and the promotional materials that Tatara has a tendency to get himself into situations where he is almost killed. I wonder how this will end up relevant to the anime; does he have a death wish or something?

Spoiler for 6: Anna, Tatara and Fujishima pick up a new animal, Izumo never thought that it was a horse But it isn't a normal horse, it's a Strain and the only power that we know for now is that it has wings but doesn't seem to fly Mikoto's reaction to the horse was priceless and Anna's cute face was so adorable Scepter4 apparently is the one who takes care of Strain businesses so two random agents want them to hand the horse over. The horse runs away with Anna. Seiri and Munakata appear at the end of the chapter. BTW it seems that Munakata recently became King (by the time of the flashback) __________________
