You've been told that where ? It says in the rules 100x100 50kb ... Why would it matter how long the animation lasts ? It's not like it can last very long with the size limits anyway.
Great work Pelli with that av .. Has a good loop and the quality too doesn't seem too bad for something with 18 frames.

If you read the Thread Rules,Which is why they are there. it clearly says:
" Be detailed about the description and make sure you keep the time frame something like 2-3 seconds long". |

If you had any idea what you are talking about you would know that the '' rule '' there is more like a guideline to help you when you are writing a request. If you request a 10 second clip, it is impossible to make animation from it because there are too many frames so it won't be less than 50kb. The rule is not there to not let you use avatars that have long animation .. As long as the avatar is less than 50kb it doesn't matter how long it lasts ... and it can't really last long with under 50kb.
The rules in the first post are to help you to write a request. The rules regarding what avatars are allowed are in the FAQ, and the FAQ says nothing about the duration of an animated avatar.

Yeah, as Dist mentions that one is more like a noob guide otherwise someone who's completely oblivious of how gifs works could put something like "hey I want an animated avatar from anime xyz timeframe 21:32 to 21:47. 100x100 and 50 Kb thanks". But normally all requests are ok if they're reasonable. Haak put a 4 seconds timeframe and I used it all in the gif, but it would have worked even if I used half of it. Besides, I've had even longer sequences as avatar in the past. tl;dr it's a non issue Quote:
Thanks, about the quality, it's due to the few colours used in the source, allowing me to make a 64colours gif with no particular loss, while keeping a high number of frames.

I need a gif avatar of Yurine from Karas. Any shot in which it shows her face and the wind blowing about her hair is good enough for me. No speaking though.
Thank you mucho.
