Eva you bastard! You went and started writing a SG/Nanoha cross and didn't tell me?! I Have half a mind to kill you where you stand! But since it's acutally good and doing so would mean I wouldn't get more you'll be allowed to live, for now!

And those "books" were actually doujins created by Hayate and drawn by Shamal for sale at Comiket.

Don't be silly. No matter how mature Vivio is she's not allowed to read the 18+ ChronoxYuuno doujins Hayate and Shamal produce (She tried but Zafira ate them to spare her eyes)

OC fic = AU = anything goes If I worry too much about canon. I'd never get anything done worrying excessively over details. Besides, this isn't StrikerS. It's three years prior.

My opinions on slang :3

When writing things like "going to" or "want to", my personal rule is that it needs to be typed out fully unless it is spoken by a character. Such as The Shiny Meido pointed out:

Syn: "We gonna go then?"
Syn: "You wanna do that?"

but if it wasn't in a quote:

Syn was going to go...
Syn really wanted to...

.............this little tidbit was brought to you by the letter three.

The only exception to the narration rule is 1st person but that is an entirely different beast where one must find a balance between dialog and narration. And I am not a meido... except on weekends.

Stop putting SG-1 and Nanoverse together, it works too well. Nice little shorts, but the timing is odd, but I like it. You have got to get the plot moving, it is getting a bit too much explanation heavy for my tastes.

Calm down my good sir. There is no need for knee-jerk reactions around these parts :P

Don't listen, Shiny has more Moe points than Vivio D:

and for first person views.... personally I find them to be the simplest kind to write. The main reason I did Vampire!Fate like that is because I can crank out parts constantly without even really trying :3

I find first person to be the hardest myself. I feel awkward writing "I" and such

It really varies from person to person really. If the writer can bring out the character in the narration, good on them, as they are part of that group of few people who can do 1st person well.

It's a bit easier when it's an original character as the writer can just say, "This is how this character thinks, and does things, because I say so, and therefore it is so."

But at the same time, it's also a nice challenge to be able to do a character, and keep it in character, until such time the character is able to grow and be molded into something the writer is more comfortable with. But even then, certain key traits and thought patterns never really disappear from the character, which is the mark of a good, and bad first-person writer, since then they have to keep the narration to character, even if the character has changed this way, and that way, and such.

On that note, may I ask what everyone thinks about my Vampire!Fate and Sick_girl!Nanoha first person POVs? Taking into consideration their AU personalities, of course.
