Looking for a romance/slice of slice anime/manga with confession relatively soon

Hello!

I need a break about those romance anime where confession happens at like the last episode. In fact I'm looking for a slice a life anime featuring a new couple or something along that. Lovely Complex got a little of what I'm looking but that's like 1% of what I want.. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Hayate no Gotoku! isn't exactly the case but it counts. Aside from this one, here are a few suggestions:

Seto no Hanayome
To Love Ru

Thanks!

But is there anything with no unreal elements and more about post-school life?

You might want to give REC a try - it likely has what you are looking for. Short it might be, but a good show never the less.

Gift ~Eternal Rainbow~ features a somewhat early confession. (Along with one of the better male leads).

Though under specific circumstances, Ai Yori Aoshi might be what you are looking for. Then again, due to circumstances the couple have a bit of hard time being expressive about it, so maybe not.

Though this is probably less serious than what you are looking for, Narue no Sekai features a young couple.

I already saw REC and Ai Yori Aoshi.. Well when I think about it REC is kinda the perfect genre that I'm looking for too bad it's short.. I guess that genre is really rare. Too bad.

Am I the only one who is interested about that genre?

I think Itazura na Kiss might just about fit, though the couple take some time getting together, the story continues far beyond school life

It's not exactly a slice of life but Saikano's couple is together in the first episode.

What wrong message are you talking about? I'm curious..

I guess I'm going to give Suzuka manga a shoot.. in which volume does the anime ends?

For Anime:

Full Metal Panic: Fumoffu focuses on the comedy and leaves the drama to other lovecoms if that's what you need a break from.

Kare Kano (His & Her Circumstances) knocks the confession out pretty early, but there's plenty of comedy/drama as the relationship progresses and lots of sidestories.

In Please Teacher the two main characters are actually married before they can really establish a relationship, so they work from there. The plot is unreal as 'I married my teacher the alien!' but the execution is sweet. It's a personal favorite.

For Manga:

I don't read much manga, but I absolutely loved the Genshiken manga and I think it fits your criteria pretty well. Early relationship resolution with plenty of stuff that goes on afterwards and stays cleanly within reality. The focus shifts between relationships and otakudom pretty regularly.

That's all I can think of atm... good luck in your search!

No one's mentioned Futari Ecchi yet?
I believe there's an OVA series for it, although I doubt it covers much... considering the insane length of the manga. (41 volumes)

It's about a virgin couple (both 25 years old) that gets married, and has to learn about sexuality together.
